Update : battles have started.
There is a tense stand-off in the Egyptian capital's main square, after fights broke out between supporters and opponents of beleaguered President Hosni Mubarak.
Thousands of the president's supporters had surged into Cairo's Tahrir Square, dismantling barricades set up by anti-Mubarak groups.

While no man knows, we are instructed to watch and understand unfolding events. And we are given powerful prophecy and are charged with seeking to understand it ("Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast").
But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch...Rev 3:3
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Thanks for the reply. Very interesting perspective.
I could hear gunshots over the live feed, but I’m not sure what to make of it. The commentators didn’t say anything. Might be they didn’t hear it because they were talking. Could be nothing.
The commentator is calling this a “million man march.” REALLY?
I highly doubt it. The Muslim Brotherhood and Al Baradai wanted it to be the other day but it fizzled down to less than about 250,000. It may be larger now but I haven't heard numbers. But if it had quadrupled in size the talking heads would be shouting about it.
Pro Mubarak supporters have beaten military up and stolen vehicles, loading them with supporters and driving to the square.
I’m watching cnn, no fighting there. All I see is men hollering, waving fingers and newspapers. That’s not how men fight.
There is, of course, more than one reason why a Christian shouldn’t ease off of his zeal to live righteously. If a supernatural event does not intervene in the world, one could simply die. Either way the meeting could happen without warning. Better not to have too many embarrassing things to explain (they will be forgiven, but the encounter will not be comfortable).
alJz report
3 military vehicles have been taken over by the rioters, driving them toward the square.
Vehicle (another one?) moving toward anti-Mubarak rioters.
Seems to be anti- against pro-Mubarak groups, without military or police presence.
you’ve obviously not been watching long, its been going for hours.
If you don’t think that POTUS Obama and Egyptian America hater, ElBaradei are not two birds of a feather, then you are either insane, drinking too much Kool-Aid or smoking too much reefer. The Obama that Rev. Jeremiah Wright & Van Jones birthed is alive, well and doing his utmost best to destroy the United States of America. Ladies & Gentlemen, our POTUS Obama has not only lost Egypt, he as lost the entire Middle East as allies of the USA!!!
So the military is either ordered to not resist or that weak?
Well, perhaps because in each case there were Islamic fundamentalists who wanted to see the more secular government toppled so they could install a more Islamic government?
You may be right, I may need to spend more time watching tv online :)
If the people are smart they’ll ally with Israel. In many ways they already have, but those are hushed up. The Egyptians have far more in common with Israelis than “Palestinians”. When Jews lived well in Egypt, Egypt lived well. Same thing with Iraq, fwtw.

Violence only arises when the pro-Mubarak protesters encounter the anti’s. [Implies the pro’s are causing the violence.]
God help him, these journalists need to be more careful, they are targets for this regime.
