I have recently been intrigued by the controversy over Obama's SSS registation. While there are a lot of questions, it is the only real document that we have to work with that has been released. I think a lot of the questions could be resolved (or more created) if we could actually compare his released document with some others. For the life of me I cannot find any others on the internet from the same period. I recently wrote the source of Debbies article (link in my comment) with the following;

I recently explored your article shared on Debbie Schlussel's site regarding Obama's Fm 1. It got me to thinking about finding other's who may have applied at the same time and I scoured the internet trying to locate any other SSS Fm 1's for the same period or any period for that matter. I couldn't find any, maybe my search terms were not good for finding any. So, then I thought, well maybe other politicians have theirs, but could not find any of those either. I don't know how to make successful FOIA requests, but apprently you do. What if some requests were made of some others that were born around the same period, and better, applied at the about the same time as Obama, and even better yet applied in Hawaii as he did. I read all the assumptions that are made regarding the rules about how a form should look, but nothing would be better than actually having some to compare against from the same time that were filed. What do you think and how could I help? Don't stop on this as it only confirms the other areas in which his credentials are very suspect.

Then I got to thinking... Why not query my friends at FreeRepublic?!?
Maybe some of you could request your SSS registrations from 1980 and beyond, you know just for research purposes.
Here is the way to request your info...
Records of registrants who were born on or after January 1, 1960
Registration Card: Shows a registrant's name, date of birth, home address, phone number, social security number, and Selective Service registration number.
How to Obtain a Copy: The requester must be the registrant himself, or show written permission from the registrant, or provide proof that the registrant is deceased. A caller may verify that a man is registered and/or obtain a registrant's Selective Service number and the date he registered by calling Selective Service at 847-688-6888 and providing the registrant's social security number and date of birth. The information may also be obtained by writing to:
Selective Service System Data Management Center P.O. Box 94638 Palatine, IL 60094-4638

I’m sure Selective Service has my info. The same can’t be said for any of Obama’s documents.
They started with guys born in 1960.
We must be about the same age(4/61). I remember going to the post office after my birthday and filling out some forms, and I guess I got some kind of card afterwards. The draft registration was big in the news at the time, but by this time the all volunteer military was starting to take hold.
I really doubt my name and address are sitting in folder in a government office. It is probably long gone.
I have or can get mine from registration back in the late 60’s for service commencing in the 70’s.

Correct. There was a two year window for people who turned 18 in ‘76 and ‘78 where you didn’t register, they weren’t even doing registrations.
Typo - 76 and 77. 78 is when regisrtations started again, as Race noted.

the most damaging item is the 2 year (60) vs 4 year(1960) date stams-postmarks in 1980......obama’s is likely a fraud.
no, you got that mixed up a little. I turned 18 in 77, did NOT have to register, but served anyways, so I would have been exempt from any draft
I got $200 that says Hussein NEVER registered for the draft.

According to the SS Proclamation that required males born in 1960 and 1961 to register (see below) “each person SHALL present for inspection reasonable evidence of his identity.” However, we note that Obama’s SS Registration form indicates that “no ID” was provided.
If Obama DID NOT comply with the SS registration regulations (note the word SHALL) then he may not be eligible to hold public office. (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selective_Service_System).
Maybe someone could make this argument in Court. That Obama willfully withheld documentation that would verify his identity to the selective service upon registering because he was, in fact, an illegal alien. I wonder what type of “Classification” Obama would then have received if he was drafted. Therefore, in court anyway, wouldn’t Obama have to prove, that at the time he registered, he actually had a valid ID (i.e., Certificate of Live Birth). And, wouldn’t he be required to produce it.
And wouldn’t the person challenging his registration have the opportunity to verify the information he presents? Maybe this is a back door approach at getting at the BC and TRUTH about Obama.
Also, Obama’s lack of ID, makes me wonder about what type of ID Obama presented to get a Driver’s license or State ID. I wonder if a FOIA request to the state of HI, CA, NY and IL DMV is in order because these are all states in which Obama resided?
Could the DMV have a photocopy of Obama’s BC? If not, at least they should have indicated what type of “identification” Obama provided when applying for his Driver’s license.

Anyone born in 1960 or greater had to register after turning 18. I registered that first month in 1980, just five days prior to what Soebarkah’s documents are dated.
I called SSS and got my print out ordered and will share that when it comes. I may have to issue an FOIA to get the original document that I signed. It's on Microfilm.
On 7/21/1980 , men 19 and 20 years old (And apparently Indonesian Citizens) started to sign up.
I think I signed up 5 days before Muhamed Soebarkah Usama.
My document is in the mail. Maybe this weekend I will have it.
Oops. Four changes of address later and at 48 years old, does that matter now?
If it gets to the point where they are calling you and me up, they will just hand us a musket and send us down the street to the front line.
