I don’t need dick armey to count. Yesterday I said Lieberman plus three would do it. Lieberman is the key vote. Turn him and the others have wiggle room. He may be in no mood for obammanonsense after the muslem brotherhood is about to take over Israel in a bloody, violent, and final war. He has obamma to thank.
Totally agree it was the supposed pro life Democrats read Bart Stupak that could have stopped this entire abortion supporting thing right in its tracks but.... History reminds us that there never was any such thing as a Moderate Democrat they are all far left fringe wackoo’s thats why they got trounced in NOV people saw them for the godless, souless, evil power hungery people that they are, hell bent on controlling people by bribing them with their own money.

It maybe futile to try to get these swing state senators to vote the will of the people, but the campaign ads that will be run against them in 2012 will not be futile.

They’re politicians, that means they can be influenced. It’s worth the phone call.
If all Republicans (and I use that term very loosely with respect to Murkowski and some others), then they will indeed need 4 Democrats. Any possibilities given the large number of Democrat senators facing re-election in 2012? I don’t think the Dems will waver, but here’s a list of potentials:
Joe Lieberman (Conn.) - not running in 2012 and someone who owes no favours to Obama or the Dem machine.
Bill Nelson (Florida) - will face a very tough race in a state which just elected Marco Rubio.
Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota) - a very low profile first-termer in a state where the electorate has to be having buyer’s remorse over Senator Franken-stein.
Claire McCaskill (Missouri) - another lightweight who is in a state where Senator Blunt hammered a member of the famous Carnahan Clan in November.
Jon Tester (Montana) - Montana’s Republican Congressman won in November by 217,000 votes to the Dem’s 121,000, with another 20,000 going to a libertarian candidate. Tester has to be very nervous.
Ben Nelson (Nebraska) - He’s got his neck stretched out a mile in a very Red state.
Jim Webb (Virginia) - the Virgina Governor’s result has to be keeping him up at nights
calling webb now. The funny thing is didn’t he say that obamacare was a mistake? Now is his time to correct that mistake...let’s see how it goes with him.
I suspect he will be the one rat they let vote with republicans.
Even if they get the 60 votes to overcome a filibuster, Reid controls the bills that come up for vote and he will NEVER allow the repeal bill to be voted on.

Yes he will...he already agreed to it because the Republicans allowed some FAA measure to come to the floor for a vote.
