The Otpor Connection in Egypt (Soros and Liberals behind uprising in Pro-US Arab Countries)

When I was following some tweets on Egypt, I was struck when I came across the symbol of Otpor. Subsequently I noticed that a number of protesters also using the Otpor symbol. The obvious question is whether this use of symbols was coincidental and some movements or protesters in Egypt were just inspired by Otpor or whether there are stronger links. A number of Serbian news sources of varying quality (Alo, Vesti Online) have now published articles suggesting that former Otpor activists have been training some opposition groups, including interviews with anonymous former Otpor members and the Serbian embassy. The main group in question seems to be April 6, launched first as a facebook group. The group has currently over 87,000 members and has been active for nearly three years already. According to recently released wikileaks documents, the group appears to have enjoyed some support from the US government, but the assessment of the US state department interloctutor in late 2008 is telling: The 6 April representative “offered no roadmap of concrete steps toward April 6′s highly unrealistic goal of replacing the current regime with a parliamentary democracy prior to the 2011 presidential elections. Most opposition parties and independent NGOs work toward achieving tangible, incremental reform within the current political context, even if they may be pessimistic about their chances of success. xxx wholesale rejection of such an approach places him outside this mainstream of opposition politicians and activists.” It seems like recent events have shown that the assessment of the group was more astute than the US state department

This is a question I’ve asked on several threads in the last few days; this “revolution” smelled to me like Soros. It seems to have a quality similar to the “orange” revolutions and other color-coded revolutions of the last few years.

And if Obama was backing it, which it seems he is from Hillary’s remarks and from the thread I see of his meetings with the Muslim Brotherhood, and from the cheerleading we’re seeing from the alphabet media, then again it smells like Soros. Because if Obama is backing it, Soros is leading it.

If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. But from what you say, it looks like maybe I’m not wrong.

Otpor, as well as other “human rightser” organizations within Serbia like “Women in Black” are pure poison. They want Serbia to commit suicide with abortion, sodomy, the “white plague”, abandoning the Orthodox Church and her holy Faith, and being absorbed into the EU. That will of necessity also involve accepting hordes of muslim immigrants, making the suicide complete.

Soros and our not-very-American State Department funds these creeps. And they have used Otpor to help foment “color revolutions” in several countries in Europe. Now they are advising revolutionaries in Arab countries, in collaboration with obamaite radicals like Bernadine Dohrn/Bill Ayers and “Code Pink”, with islamist radical poised for the kill.

Google now does a reasonable English translation of the Dveri Srpske (Serbian Gates) site, for us linguistically challenged folks. The translation goes deep into the site, not just the home page. Not only does the translation enable Americans to read the site, but it also shows that the smear campaign waged by the “human rightsers” against Dveri Srpske (e.g., that it is antisemitic) is not true!!!!

Of course, the “human rightser” creeps will continue to smear Serb patriotic and Orthodox organizations as “Serb nationalist” with “Serbian nationalism” being as bad as Nazism or fascism. They’ll do this even if we can check out the English translation of the site, and learn the truth. But similar creeps are bashing Sarah Palin, the Tea Partiers, and the entire State of Arizona as being “violent right-wing racists who inspire murder”.

A representative of Dveri Srpske came to our Serbian Orthodox parish a few years ago, and our priest gave me a running translation of his talk. They have been sending representatives into the Serb diaspora of the US, Canada, Australia, etc. But unlike Otopr, no regime change or muslim Brotherhood takeover follows in their wake. I wish that they (or others) could sow the seeds of Orthodox Christian renewal and growth here in the US and in Russia, Greece, Romania, etc., etc. however.

The Greek govt. (not the Greeks at least not all) has already sold out and has been committing suicide for a while now—the results are despicable and sad. Our ancestors are turning over in their graves.
