Doctor says he doesn’t know the reason for request

HONOLULU (AP) - Gov. Neil Abercrombie's office said he asked Dr. Neal Palafox to withdraw his nomination to lead the state Department of Health, contradicting his administration's previous claim that Palafox withdrew himself.
Abercrombie spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz confirmed it was the governor and not Palafox who asked for the withdrawal.
Dela Cruz declined to discuss the reason for Palafox's abrupt departure, and Palafox has said he doesn't know what led to his Wednesday dismissal after a month as interim Health Department director.

If Mike Evan’s three reports (or more, last I heard there were 3) are correct that Abercrombie went so far as to send subpoenas to Hawaiian hospitals trying to uncover the records. That little tidbit makes this all the more interesting.
Most likely, Palafox being a long-time Democrat supporter would have realized the sensitivity of the request yet most likely didn’t think anything unusual would turn up. The records would be found and the Governor would release them to the press, shutting up the birthers and finally putting this issue to rest all in time for the 2012 elections. Oh to a a fly on the wall when Palafox was informed there was no there there.
Now Abercrombie has four problems and with the story growing legs, he needed to act quickly - hell, even Chrissy Matthews is questioning why the One just won’t release the damned things.
There are no records, Palafox isn’t under thumb and may talk, the story has grown legs with progressives now openly questioning other progressives and his rear is sore from the last call the WH made to his office. Chewed butt isn’t a delicacy in Hawaii, is it?
Abercrombie makes one last ditch effort to gather something, anything. He subpoenas the area hospitals and begins formulating a way to rid himself of Palafox; nothing like an unnamed source planted in the press of an unknown investigation into billing that Palafox may or may not be involved with.
The Hospitals have nothing on record so now Abercrombie is really screwed. He promises the WH he will take care of this and crafts a ridiculous statement with his AG hinting that something exists, but even Obama with all his power can’t release “it”, (btw, one Obama Nativity Story supporter explained that by saying the new “AG just doesn’t know the laws of Hawaii yet”). Abercrombie and the AG finalized their stories and released it to the press - hoping that most of the MSM would drop the issue.
Now, to get rid of Palafox and keep him quiet. A simple phone call to the reporter who has the “source” runs with it. Palafox is given a choice, keep your mouth shut or go to prison, either way you no longer have a job. If we knew the names of other players in this sage, there’s a good probability some of them will all of a sudden be out of jobs. Even worse with the DOH to the DNC to investigators and AG office including the power of the presidency.
Abercrombie might as well change his title to janitor the way he’s tried to sweep this under the rug. And his attempt to clear the good name of his friend, may have been the one straw we all knew was out there.
To the detriment of the US, we may have to wait until 2012 until we find out how many Obama supporters were swept away when Abercrombie opened the flood gates.
That is of course unless one of the few people in Hawaii and elsewhere who know the real facts of this matter open their mouths. Love of country should have forced unlocked their jaws long ago but we’re talking liberals here. No lie, no threat, no payoff, blackmail or punishment is to severe to those who break with the party line. Go after Obama and even reality can be turned upside down; as long as HE is protected.
Throw enough money on the table and things may just become Abercrombie, Obama and Snitch.
At this point you have to look back at what some of the Hawaiian officials thought would happen....

The previous administration in Hawaii under Governor Linda Lingle confirmed that both the original Obama Certificate of Live Birth and the computer print out Certification of Live Birth are on file and available.
Wrong and a flat-out lie. Linda Lingle or Chiyome Fukino never once said they saw/processed/certified/verified or sent out by request of the Obama Campaign a Certificate of Live Birth.
You know that. And both Lingle’s and Fukino’s statements are on record for anyone to read. In fact, the unnamed records Fukino claims she verified to deem Obama a American Citizen, if available as you claim, would have been presented to Abrochrombie with lei’s, dancing girls and pineapples if he asked for them.

Obama obtained a certified copy of his Certification of Live Birth from the Hawaii Department of Health in 2007.
Exact name, source and statement of anyone in authority who has stated or verified that exact claim. And...what you can’t answer and will spend weeks twisting yourself into knots trying to excuse or explain, is that Abercrombie would have been given the COLB and other documentation within a few hours of requesting them. Here...try some of these excuses the next time.....

Nowhere in the links you’ve provided did anyone say the Obama campaign requested in 2007 and was sent a certified copy of Obama’s Certification of Live Birth which was later uploaded to the internet as proof of Obama’s eligibility.
You won’t find it in the links you sent or any others - the State of Hawaii has never once verified it, regardless of how many times believers twist words to fit their facts. But, Kapiolani won’t verify he was born there....because he wasn’t. Mike Evans three times is on record saying Abercrombie could find nothing at the hospitals either. Imagine that.

the question, but stated, “The noble truth is that the president was born in Hawaii, a state of the United States of America. He would not verify the authenticity of the letter that once appeared on Kapi’olani’s website but has now been removed.

Let’s assume for a second that everything you post above is the absolute truth and the way things happened.
All you and folks who agree with you need do is convince one single prosecuting attorney in the entire United States to convene a grand jury investigation into your allegations. With a grand jury investigation comes the power to subpoena documents and records and the ability to compel witnesses to testify under oath.
I’d be most interested in your explanation as to why in the nearly four years since February 10, 2007 when Barack Hussein Obama II announced his candidacy for the presidency, no grand jury investigation into his eligibility has been convened if there are serious constitutional issues here worth investigating.
Oh, and the St. Petersburg Times newspaper’s investigative unit, politifact, e-mailed a copy of the Obama campaign’s 2007 COLB to Ms. Janice Okubo, Public Information Director for the Hawaii Department of Health. Ms. Okubo reviewed the scan of the document and told the St. Petersburg Times that:
“It’s a valid Hawaii state Birth Certificate.”
Later in the interview she said that she had ordered her own COLB and Obama’s was identical.
Furthermore ALL scanned and actual images of Obama COLBs are irrelevant since the Director of Health for the state of Hawaii, Dr. Chiyome Fukino issued a news release saying that she had personally seen and verified Obama’s ORIGINAL birth certificate along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics for the State of Hawaii, Dr. Alvin T. Onaka, whose signature appears on the 2007 COLB issued to Obama.
Dr. Onaka is alive and well and certainly would be able to testify as to whether the state Health Department issued the 2007 COLB or not.
Dr. Chiyome Fukino is also alive and well and able to testify under oath as to exactly what document she observed in the files of the Department of Health and what information is on that document.
Any official judicial or legislative body can call Hawaii officials to testify under oath. But none have.
Finally, I went to Kapiolani’s web site and found the Centennial Magazine with the letter from President Obama in it. Here’s a link. The reference to President Obama being born at Kapiolani is on the first page on the right hand column:
