Looters broke into the Egyptian Museum during anti-government protests late Friday and destroyed two Pharaonic mummies, Egypt's top archaeologist told state television.

I just read a book The Great Deluge” about how this happened in N. Orleans after Katrina. Sorry folks, sorriness has no religious bounds.
That stuff is isn't really that old and is over rated...If ya want see some *real* old stuff, look at rocks, or for that matter the sun, but use proper filtering.
Did you forget a sarcasm tag?
Absolutely not...That stuff in Egypt is all made by man, and brand new in comparison to real antiquated objects such as rocks and stars. I'm just not overly impressed by man made stuff that's only several thousand years old.
My point is, what you think is old, really isn't.
What??
Why would present day saracens have any cultural attatchment to anything pre-islamic? They don’t want to be reminded the ones that existed before them were better than them.

Yes, it looks like the British Museum and the Louvre were wise not to return their collections of antiquities.
Don't taunt the Mummy.
*Losing that to a mob or looters would be kinda like losing the Mona Lisa.*
Depending on your age, I’m pretty sure we’ll see that in our lifetime as well.
I really don’t get your point. Because something is man made it’s not worth preserving? Only rocks are worth preserving? In that case I suppose we need to rush right out and preserve your head....
Oh, and btw, I never did ask you what impresses you. Because, I don’t care. You have an odd view of things, and you have a right to that odd view. Thanks for sharing, I’m sure we’re all thrilled to know what passes for deep thoughts from you.
I never said a word in regards to preserving anything....
Guess he lost that argument.
And watch out for The Claw!
By the way jackass, feel free to visit these A-rab countries spend your money and gawk at their tourist traps...They make a good living off people like you.
haha! what an odd perspective... something doesn't have to be as old as dirt to have value...
I never said anything about value...
Does anyone read here?
lol
i read your post... there is such thing as undertone in writing... things don't always need to be spelled out... perhaps you didn't say anything about monetary value, but you contrasted "man-made" artifacts with God-made, natural artifacts... you value the sun and rocks... that's cool... and disregard man-made artifacts that are merely thousands of years old... well, okay... but be intellectually honest... you don't see value in the man-made treasures...
I never said anything about value.
Perhaps you should read more carefully, instead of involuntarily burping out comments.
He’s a waste of your time. He said what he said and now he would like to deny and backtrack. His tack is to call names and try to sound clever. Best tack is to probably ignore him. I only pinged him on this because it’s good manners, which is ironic when you think about it.
