Here’s an interesting Ground Report from Hawaii that contains an ingenious theory about Hawaiian Governor Neil Abercrombie’s bizarre backtrack on releasing Obama’s birth certificate.
Remember, Abercrombie promised that once he was elected Governor he would prove Obama’s birth certificate existed because he would march down to the Hall of Records and demand its production from the archives…and he would then hold it aloft in the gentle Hawaiian breeze, high above his balding pate, for all the world to see, thereby producing the document Obama has spent millions to keep hidden.

How successful that is in this particular case would be interesting. They might make you pay if you want the info.
Well Buckey if it turns out to be true and you were Obama seeing no light at the end of the tunnel, what would you (obama)do, grovel an plead for mercy or cut and run asking for political asylum in a friendly muslim nation (kenya?)? Upon adoption by Lolo the Indonesian, the young fellow's Birth Certificate would have been amended to reflect the legal name change to Barry Soetoro.
What these folks are attempting to explain (I tink) is that after the legal name change to Barry Soetoro, the POTUS never LEGALLY changed it back. Ergo, his legal name is still Barry Soetoro.
An aside: Occidental College knew him as Barak Hussein Obama, they said.
Aside #2: Barry/Barak did not see fit to let the Illinois Bar know that he had been known by another name (an alias) or had a drug history, or unpaid traffic violations, That is, to use legal terminology, a Super Double Probation No-No, Boo-Boo Extremus U Outa Here violation of the Canon of Ethics.
In fact, our POTUS is no longer a member of the Illinois Bar under Super Triple Probation Secret Sanctions of Some Mysterious Sort Never to be Explained to the Likes of Us. And, neither is his wife, the demure and petite Michelle.

If you are in Timbuktu and spending A LOT OF TIME researching Obama..you might think about looking into an FOIA request.
That would make sense.
The reason not to do is just as you say.
That is why , in this particular case, it might make sense for a foreigner to do it.
However, when I make a post wondering why Allen and Strunk didn’t look into Obama Sr (since they were already on record) and someone makes post after post to me telling me it isn’t possible..I am going to respond, yes indeed it is possible..and you don’t need to be a US Citizen to do it.
It takes just a few minutes to look into an FOIA request.
Whether or not someone wants to do it is another story.
How can you research Obama in depth ( no matter where you live) and not recognize there is such a thing as FOIA is beyond me.
You forget. obama is now a very wealthy man. There are many places he can go and live like a king.

First of all, just because you THINK he wasn’t part of the airlift..an FOIA request should have been done to see what was returned. No matter what you THINK..you get the information to see what is returned.
Why is that important???
Do I need to spell it out.
If I wasn’t living in the US or I was Strunk or Allen I would have been pursuing this aggressively with MULTIPLE departments to see what was returned.
And Yes, an FOIA should have been sent to USCIS with the known name..and even the known dates to see what was returned.
Really can’t believe you have done all this research and didn’t think an FOIA was important.
Did you read Lolo’s file. It provides very interesting information that is an important part of the story.

Among all the comments in the various threads someone posted a name for Obama which was purely African like Obuopo or somethihg like that with a first name of similar origin.

Spurious argument! You are assuming that anyone wants to let Romney off free on this. If - as you say - he does not qualify then SO BE IT! I agree that sauce for the goose sauce for the gander should apply AND in no way lets Obama off the hook.
