If WikiLeaks were a Tea Party affiliated group, would the NYTimes and other Lame Stream Media outfits be willing to publish the leaked diplomatic cables and earlier classified war documents? Would there be howling outrage that Julian Assange is a racist tool of Pauline Hanson's old One Nation party in Queensland?
Certainly the American left-leaning media were all too happy to publish details of Bush-Cheney tracking terrorists via their international financial transactions, pictures of Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse in 2004, the phony flushing of a Q'uran at Club G'itmo in 2005, etc. After all, Bush stole the 2000 election, lied about WMD, waged an illegal war, tortured prisoners, exacerbated Global Warming, and saddled the incoming administration with the worst economy since the Great Depression, etc, etc, etc.
But, come on, where's the Hope and Change here? Is Julian Assange just a Dittohead who wants Obama to fail? Or to paraphrase Obama's spiritual advisor Jim Wallace, "There wouldn't be a Wikileaks document dump if there wasn't a black man in the White House!"
Wikileaks would release Obama’s birth certificate, college transcripts, original manuscript for his books, etc. if they really wanted to see him fail.
If they Wikileaks had those documents, Assange would have been water-boarded and secretly fed to salt water crocs already.

Wikileaks wants America — our defense, our foreign policy, our national security, etc. — to fail. They are a purely anti-American outfit. They want Obama to fail only insofar as his failure means our failure ... they want Obama to succeed where his success means our failure.

Interesting points. Certainly if you have something that damaging to hide (the b/c) you can be influenced.
That Julian is still vertical, and there has not been a mysterious fire in the Wikileaks bunker is telling.

Huh? Wikileaks was launched in 2006. "This White House" came into office on 1/21/10.
