If she runs and gets close to being nominated, I'm betting he backs off.

Unfortunately, Sarah will need to cut a deal (meaning an understanding) with the republican establishment or she (or any other conservative candidate) has no chance of winning the general. She may be the only candidate that can bridge the conservative wing, the teapartiers, and the establishment. It's one of the main reasons I favor her.

Besides, I'd like to know that Rove has the capacity to grovel, and she'd be a great recipient of his grovelling!

What she is going to be hit with is that she caved under pressure. She couldn’t take the political and legal assault from her fellow Alaskans. So, she cut and ran after the green fields of fame and fortune.

IMHO, she needs to deal with the subject pretty soon, in such a definitive and repeatable manner that by the time the campaign rolls out, it has become a non-issue for the chunk of voters concerned about it.

I like Sarah. I think she would be infinitely better than the poser in the White House. There may be others better than she. But, what I believe she brings to the table, is, that, she will surround herself with more people that think outside the box than party apparatchiks. That is, she will genuinely do good for the country.
