Sarah Palin never claimed she could see Russia from her house that was Tina Fey but she went one better on Glenn Beck's radio show in discussing the tensions in the Korean Peninsula and saying: "We've got to stand with our North Korean allies".
A transcript of the radio show reads:
Interviewer: How would you handle a situation like the one that just developed in North Korea?
Palin: Well, North Korea, this is stemming from a greater problem, when we're all sitting around asking, 'Oh no, what are we going to do,' and we're not having a lot of faith that the White House is going to come out with a strong enough policy to sanction what it is that North Korea is going to do. So this speaks to a bigger picture that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policy. But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies we're bound to by treaty....
Interviewer: South Korean.
Palin: Yes, and we're also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes.

Well, if it’s this that you’re referring to, I don’t see any flub by Mr. Miller. He saw effective border security, and simply pointed it out. Perhaps liberals didn’t approve of a conservative using a liberal “workers’ paradise” as an example, and maybe he should have referred to Israel regarding walls...but if Berlin was his experience, it is CLEAR that he DID NOT MIX UP the good guys and the bad guys.
...unless you’re referring to something else.
Did you mean to put a /sarc tag on that?
I am losing count of your troll posts.
Thank you.
She should run. Mitt or many of the others do not have a clue as to what a conservative really is. I will not vote for anyone who says one thing and flip flops later on. I am tired of voting for the lesser of 2 evils. I will not do that this next time.
Sara Palin is woefully inarticulate, guys. As much as I like her spirit and sense of values, she is NOT presidential. She’s not on a par with a Michelle Bachman or a Jim DeMint.
Either one of those two are fantastically articulate.
Whenever I hear Palin talk, it’s the same feeling I had watching George Shrub talk: I never know when the next awkward non-sensical sentence is going to happen. We don’t need another leader like that.
Her knowledge of foreign affairs is also woefully lacking.
I think Freepers need to be realistic about her limitations and support someone like Bachman or DeMint, or Congressman Mike Rogers from Michigan who was very articulate in his ObummerCare opposition:

Palin would be a great head of the RNC instead.
I haven’t had enough peace and quiet time alone to listen to Glenn’s interview, even though I posted it along with all her other radio interviews today. I’ve really not been able to intently listen to any of them. *sigh*
Now she’s done even before she was a truly a viable presidential candidate.
I believe that should be "knows". [But the Sarah bashers knew what you meant and didn't feel a need to pretend that you don't know the difference between subject-verb agreement and possessive based on a minor slip.]
I’m so glad to see that nobody here has ever mis-spoken (or rather mis-written).
(Do you really need the sarcasm tag?)
ROTFLOLOL.
You’re easy.
GOOD thing you don’t get to decide HER future.
Ever read Michelle 0bama's thesis? She went to [GASP!] Princeton. The thesis was proofed. It had a rewrite. It wasn't an extemporaneous interview. It reads like it was written by a middle-schooler. We can't even look at her husband's school work. Why? Because he's a dope, that's why. Can we please get conservatives on that theme, and off of Palin's back? Please?
I have to agree that we have yet to see deep substance out of Gov. Palin. I have not heard her give a full blown National policy speech on the economy or foreign policy; only campaign rally speeches and those intended to be shallow. That does not mean she can not do it. It means I have yet to see it.
Dry up sonny. You young liberals are really something. Go back to DU junior...they enjoy your type of little liberal bleeding heart hussein/muslim idiot loving anti Sarah crap over there I hear. Good God.
But of course Obama can have similar slips of the tongue, e.g., “57 states”, “my Muslim faith”, and gets a complete pass.
I misspeak all the time. Sometimes I throw things out by accident. Sometimes I forget where I’ve put things. It’s called “having a lot of things on your mind”. If anything it shows Sarah has a lot on her mind.
Its not the first time someone misspoke (garbled a word, 'East vs West', North vs South' ... '50 States vs 57 States' ... well that last one was a little weird), and it won't be the last.
Registers a Zero on the Richter scale...
