One Hundred Naked Citizens: One Hundred Leaked Body Scans
gizmodo.com ^ | 11/16/10 | gizmodo

At the heart of the controversy over "body scanners" is a promise: The images of our naked bodies will never be public. U.S. Marshals in a Florida Federal courthouse saved 35,000 images on their scanner. These are those images.

A Gizmodo investigation has revealed 100 of the photographs saved by the Gen 2 millimeter wave scanner from Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., obtained by a FOIA request after it was recently revealed that U.S. Marshals operating the machine in the Orlando, Florida courthouse had improperly-perhaps illegally-saved images of the scans of public servants and private citizens.

We understand that it will be controversial to release these photographs. But identifying features have been eliminated. And fortunately for those who walked through the scanner in Florida last year, this mismanaged machine used the less embarrassing imaging technique.

Maybe you’re right. Everyone should just stand back and allow people to carry and/or conceal whatever they want onto airplanes, cruise ships, buses, etc ...

That’s fake (a negative of a photo) and not a xray scan.

I get the same visual when I think of this.

And some idiot DJ on the Dallas radio this morning was defending this inhumane business and calling those who object idiots. In my visual I see him standing in line sreaming at people to hurry up and just go with it because he wants his “shower”.

“...the undie bomber...”

Wasn't he the one who bought a one way ticket at the gate, had no luggage, paid cash, was ON the no-fly list, but got on anyway because some well-dressed person behind him said, “oh, we do that all the time”? The rest of us are going through this invasion of privacy because one person/airline messed up??

Maybe the Government should allow common sense to dictate.

Israel uses profiling.

Muslim women wearing their Islamic outfits are to be exempt.

So, who are you kidding about this being about security.

It isn't, it is about control.

We need to do behavioral profiling like Israeli security does.

This is what the terrorists are afraid we will figure out. They know it has already stopped the Millenium Plot.

That’s why they staged the dry run of the “Flying Imams” in Minnesota - so they could sue civilians who reported their suspicious behavior and get a precedent saying that it is illegal “discrimination” for people to note things like people shouting “Death to America”, asking for seatbelt extenders and then not using them, and moving to the seats so they could control the escape exits.

They actually wouldn’t even have to win a lawsuit either. Just like the scientologists sometimes do, they can destroy a person’s life just by forcing them to defend themselves in lawsuits. The Muzzies have an infinite supply of cash so paying for lawsuits is no problem for them at all. But any one of us might think twice before reporting suspicious behavior if we knew that the rest of our life and fortune would be spent wrestling with a tiger that has all the money and political power of the world at its disposal.

Congress passed a law, I believe, that forbids individuals from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior (I hope I’m remembering this right; somebody please let me know if you know for sure about this), but my understanding is that it did not forbid lawsuits against COMPANIES that respond to claims of suspicious behaviors. (Again, somebody tell me if I’m misunderstanding this). If so, that still leaves the gate wide open for Islamists to keep companies from acting on reports of suspicious behavior - the only kind of surveillance that can be effective against terrorists.

And if the Islamists can threaten the TSA.... well, that’s even better, because they have access and power that actual companies don’t.

If the Islamists can get someone who supports the Islamic agenda (wordwide sharia and the destruction of the US and Israel), or maybe somebody who fears that America will win the war on terror (because that would make America and capitalism strong) in charge of Homeland Security, or the White House... the country would be totally at the mercy of the communist-Islamist cabal.

BTW, Obama told the Egyptian ambassador that he was and still is a Muslim who supports the Muslim agenda.

BTW, George Soros, Obama’s owner and puppet-master, has said that he is afraid the US would win the war on terror because that would make America and capitalism strong.

ALL FACTS you state ARE TRUE. As I understand it, the Undie Bomber departed Amsterdam to Detroit, so no matter how intrusive the screening in the US would not have detected what he was smuggling in. I think this is a further eroding of our civil liberties and a payoff to someone....so a 13 year old girl can have a body past down, yet we will not profile a muslim. Welcome to 1984 oh I mean 2010 :(

“...so a 13 year old girl can have a body past down, yet we will not profile a muslim.”

Hannity said tonight that they patted down a “screaming 3 year old”. Is that true? Has anyone heard this? I have a 3 year old granddaughter, and if someone did that to her, I'm not sure who they would taze first: me, granddad, dad, or mom. It would not be pretty, that's for sure.

I just think let the private airlines do security how they think best and let people choose which airline to fly.

That's called capitalism, the free market , freedom.

What democrats want , government agencies is socialism and it doesn't work. TSA is a prime example of government failure because what these goons are doing is now out in the open while the EPA works in the background hidden by the liberal media.

Government is the problem and the enemy not the solution, not our saviour as democrats think it is. government is the enemy.

The similarities have been noted.

Do you suppose they are trying to desensitize us to indignities like they did the Jews in WW2 Germany??
