What the RINOs are really afraid of is the possibility that Palin will decide NOT to run in 2012. What the heck would they do?

What if she decides to let those RINO pissants fend for themselves against this communist onslaught? Which one of their milquetoast RINO nutless wonders would be able to defeat the communists? The answer is "none of them".

None of them can draw a crowd; none of them can raise money; none of them can articulate a conservative vision for the USA; and none of them can even fake the leadership traits that come so naturally to Sarah Palin.

Damn, that was well said. The only other thing that I could tag onto your excellent analysis, is that if Sarah Palin is not chosen as the Republican nominee for 2012, millions of center-right voters will withdraw from the vote for POTUS.

Sarah has the "broken glass" Republican vote. Millions have decided that they'd rather lose to the Democrats, than ever pull the lever for another RINO.

If Mitt Huckap'lenty is our candidate, he'll lose in a landslide against Zero (or Hillary) because he will NOT get the Tea Party vote.

Oh please God, not the Huckster... anyone but him.. even Romney's better than him....

Actually, she would be much better than any of the “nothings” or “nobodies” you might present as an alternative.

I love Sarah and what she stands for. Great conservative principles and easy on the eyes, but her voice......wow. It’s just tough to get past the high-pitched dramatic whiney quality. I may be way off base, but the voice lacks, may I say it? ‘Gravitas’.

I don’t find anything funny about 4 more years of 0bama.

This assumes Palin doesn't have chance, which is lunacy.

Obama somewhere between Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover on the list of all-time failure Presidents. That means whoever the Republican nominee is will have a great chance of beating him.

This sort of negativity is disgusting.

What utter nonsense. No one, including Huckabee, has a more liberal record or is a bigger liar than Willard.

She has pretty good legs, though.

will she remain merely a media phenomenon

What's that? Media's unsuccessful attempt at reporting negatively on Sarah for 24/7 for two years straight and nothing touched her? Yeah, that would be a phenomenon.

And the more they did it, the more successful she grew. And we have two more years to go!

and asks herself if she wants to bear that burden for the rest of her life.

One reason for Sarah's successful life is that she doesn't have your defeatist mindset.

Why single out Palin? EVERY GOP candidate potential has to ask themselves that question. Why single out Palin unless she is the obvious front runner? She hasn’t stated her intent, shoot she hasnt even left the launchpad, but you’ve shot your wad of ammo at her already?

Is it premature Palination? Or just an itchy trigger finger?

We should have learned from Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell, Joe Miller, and Ken Buck that magical thinking doesn’t win elections.

We can afford to lose a few senate seats on a bold gamble. But we cannot afford to lose the presidential election to 0bama again. Too much is at risk.

If 0bama is reelected, it means 0bamaCare will never go away. It means the American way of life is over. American prosperity gone for good. European employment levels will be the new normal. The return of the Wellfare State. America will be a Taker nation instead of a Maker nation. Big Government will become Omnipresent Government. Israel will cease to exist. These issues are bigger than any one person. The temporary resident of the White House does not matter. Preserving and protecting the nation for future generations is the only thing that does.

We need to step up our game in 2012. I don’t know who the Republicans nominate. The only thing that matters is that person needs to end 0bama’s reign of terror.

Palin consistently loses to 0bama in head to head match-ups. Often, her name is the only one that loses to 0bama. Believe these polls. We can’t afford to dismiss them. Palin is a known entity. She has near universal name ID already. She is not going to pick up votes. People have already made up their minds. She has no room for improvement.

Perhaps people are looking at all of the Palinesque candidates she backed who lost statewide races in battleground states?

The defeat of all of the prominent Tea Party candidates in swing states should have served as a wakeup call. I am a very firm supporter of the Tea Parties and the Tea Party candidates, but at some point you have to have a sober analysis of the facts. Palin will do no better than Sharron Angle or Ken Buck, and these are two states we must win.

FYI...

Palin did NOT endorse in the NV primary. Remember, her dad campaigned for Danny Tarkanian. She endorsed Angle, but late, and after she had won the nomination. Ditto for O’Donnell, I believe.

I cannot recall whether she endorsed in the CO Senate primary or not. I’m sure someone will chime in with the answer.

Two thirds of the candidates she endorsed won their races. I believe CBS, of all outlets, reported that. That is an amazing percentage.

In any event, Palin’s biggest hurdle is going to be this:

http://blogs.reuters.com/james-pethokoukis/2010/11/12/why-wall-street-should-fear-sarah-palin/

She would be (if she runs) the ONLY candidate with the stones to start rounding up some of the banksters on Wall Street, et al....and TOSS THEIR ASSES IN JAIL. Which is exactly where they belong, btw (some of them). Does anyone expect Mitt to do that? They’re his buddies! Huck and the rest will also be accepting their contributions, granting favors in return. Palin won’t get one thin dime in contributions from the crony capitalist bunch. It’s not lost on me that no one, other than Bernie Madoff, has gone to federal prison over these financial shenanigans.

I doubt it’s lost on Palin.

I don’t think Mitt or the Huckster are the answer either.
Why is there such a poverty of vision around here?

I think the GOP nominee will be someone rarely mentioned, if ever.
But when that person emerges, it will make perfect sense.

Someone of greater substance than style. Someone with heft and weight behind powerful, informed words. Someone who makes people sit up and listen, knowing they are hearing an adult say something important from a place of wisdom and experience, rather than empty platitudes designed for 20 second sound bites in a reality TV world.

When you find a plurality of voters in this country who appreciate and eagerly listen to a candidate who makes people sit up and listen, knowing they are hearing an adult say something important from a place of wisdom and experience, rather than empty platitudes designed for 20 second sound bites in a reality TV world, LET ME KNOW.

We are competing with 20 second sound bytes. However Obama, was able to get it down to a 3 second soundbyte: “YES WE CAN”

Look at what we ended up with.....

This sort of negativity is disgusting.

Well said. In the course of about two years Sarah Palin dealt with:

1-Her daughters teen pregnancy

2-The diagnosis of her unborn child's Downs Syndrome.

3-Running as VP in on the worst political campaigns in history while handcuffed and gagged.

3-A huge number of frivolous ethic complains filed against her as Governor and resigning the office.

4-The pond scum sperm donor to her grandchild who told great big lies about her and her family in order to extend his own 15minutes.

5-Sent her oldest son to war

Two years! In that time she did not turn to drink or drugs, cheat on her husband, or in any way fall apart (if she did,the MSM would surely let us know). She got stronger. She wrote a book, educated herself about important things and formed alliances with true conservatives. And most importantly, she removed the conservative mask from plenty of RINOs, Rove is certainly a notable one.

Should she run. I will devote no less than 40 hours a week and any cash I can spare to help her. I know one poster here promised to raise two million for her. Please let me know if I can help you do that.
