I don’t think Mitt or the Huckster are the answer either.
Why is there such a poverty of vision around here?

I think the GOP nominee will be someone rarely mentioned, if ever.
But when that person emerges, it will make perfect sense.

Someone of greater substance than style. Someone with heft and weight behind powerful, informed words. Someone who makes people sit up and listen, knowing they are hearing an adult say something important from a place of wisdom and experience, rather than empty platitudes designed for 20 second sound bites in a reality TV world.

When you find a plurality of voters in this country who appreciate and eagerly listen to a candidate who makes people sit up and listen, knowing they are hearing an adult say something important from a place of wisdom and experience, rather than empty platitudes designed for 20 second sound bites in a reality TV world, LET ME KNOW.

We are competing with 20 second sound bytes. However Obama, was able to get it down to a 3 second soundbyte: “YES WE CAN”

Look at what we ended up with.....
