The count of the AK Senate Race Absentee Ballots takes place today. Currently, the total Write-in votes exceed Joe Miller's total vote count by 13,500 votes. There are 31,000 Absentee Ballots to be counted today. Absentee Ballots, which contain many military votes, normally go heavily Republican. Lisa Murkowski's name was not on the Absentee Ballot and the people who vote Absentee very seldom do the "Write-in" thing. If they do, it, many times, is not done correctly. So.......
If Joe Miller's lead, after the count of the Absentee Ballots, exceeds the 81,000 Write-in Ballots, which did not all go for Lisa anyway, turn out the lights; the party's over.
Don’t worry. It will be “Miller Time” realllll soon I bet. ;-) One more thorn in the side of Senate Democrats and Senator Obama’s agenda.
Miller, if willing to fight it out to the end will end up on top. The Rino establishment won’t help him though. It’s up to us.

I so hope that Miller pulls this out. If Murkowski wins, she may be worse than she was before the election.
Hoping that at least 10,000 idiots wrote in funny names, not Liza’s
You mean Murk hasn’t found a judge to disqualify the absentee ballots yet? She is really slipping.
Sure would be fun to see princess lose this one. She will freak out, FREAK OUT!
Miller would have to take about 22,000 of the absentee ballots to ensure victory. That’s assuming all writeins go to Murkowski. The vast majority probably will. I don’t see it ending today.
This thread reminds me of the “Christine can win!” threads prior to Nov 2nd. Joe will not win, sadly.
I would not be surprised to see Murkowski challenge the absentees for one reason or another. A willing judge can always be bought.
Hell hath no fury like a princess scorned. She will take revenge and leave a swath of total devastation in her path. Nobody challenges princess, NOBODY!
Immjust hoping he substantially closes tge gap today. If so the fight continues.

The Rino establishment wont help him though. Its up to us.

Again. So be it. I am glad their animosity is now in the open.
How do they count 31,000 absentees in one day?
Are they split between locations to be counted in machines (assuming they are scanned?
Are Miller’s reps on hand to make sure no funky business is happening? I hope the place is filled with his people during these counts.
and.....are we going to hear the final decision on this today?
The GOP establishment dispatched one of the key attorneys from the 2000 Florida election to aid her. This witch will not go away. Worse, if she wins, it is a very bad blow to Palin which is why the Witch is pulling out all the stops, with RINO support of course as they fear Sarah a lot.
Castle would have gone the write in vote route too, with RINO support, but he knew he could not win in De given the dem registry and O’Donnel taking most of the available votes. It was different in Alaska, a sitting senator with the establishment behind her verses the T Party candidate. Sarah and the T party MUST win this one.
One issue to which I haven’t heard how it was resolved. Alaskan law clearly states the write-in candidate’s name MUST be spelled correctly, yet the state elections commission says it’s acceptable if it’s close. Has Miller said he’ll challenge this?
I think there are fewer Murkowski write-ins than many people think.
I think Joe has the ‘nads to fight to the finish. He looked pissed the other night on Huckabee when they were showing the Federal contractor campaigning for Murkie on Federal property while he and all the employees were on the clock and being paid by taxpayers money. He turned a Safety Meeting into a campaign speech. Joe was livid. He’s a fighter.
I don’t get the math. In order to bring the race to a tie using 31000 absentee ballots, Miller would need to win them 29000 to 2000. That’s a tall order, but I, too, am hoping to see it come to pass.
