Rats. He is an idiot if he thinks he wont be unemployed in 2012 if he compromises with the president or the dems.
But maybe as you stated he is.

This has Alinsky overtones. Issa is from the People’s Republic of Kalefornia. I am perplexed as there is mental illness in the water there.
However, Issa is a bright man and this could very well mean, “I’m going to make him do “the right thing” and live up to his promises. That would indeed be the most diabolical way of destroying the Obummer.

Wait a minute.
This doesn’t sound the type of comment Issa would make, unless he was drunk.... or sumthin’.

Issa is playing the game. He already stated last night that he'll be doing plenty of oversight hearings on the Obamaoids.

It all depends on the meaning of the word "success."

Look how much red is in the mid and eastern sections of Ca. and Wa. too. What a shame leftists control those states.
Oregon is a lost cause too.

Yup, it was said tongue in cheek. He wants to make the Prez successful at being transparent, and that means a trip to subpoenaville.
This is going to be fun to watch.

Darrell has been a solid conservative Congressman, and maybe he’s just playing it coy here.
That’s what I’m hoping.

“This is smart. Figure it out.”
I agree with you. I think he is saying his job is to make sure any illegal behaviour by those in his administration should be brought out in the sunshine so it doesn’t taint his presidency. Wink wink!!

The first step in his success should be ending the eligibility issue. Subpoena the birth certificate and put the question to rest. Fortunately, Congressman Issa is much too smart to do anything as idiotic as wasting incredible political capital on unfounded birther internet fantasy rumors. There's too much provable corruption to investigate.
To: eeevil conservative
didn’t he say the same thing 2 years ago in response to Rush?

My job is to make the president a success Oh, is that how the Constitution defines your job? It sounds more like the job description of Obama's Chief of Staff
And so it begins....
To: Lazlo in PA
Issa is going to say one thing and hopefully do anotherSo he's really a Democrat?
