FReeper Carolinamom has passed [Funeral services information at post #224]

It is with sad news that I report on the passing of longtime FReeper Carolinamom.

Her daughter notified Howlin this morning and told Howlin that her sister found their sweet mother Carolinamom (Miriam) this morning on the bathroom floor.

Her daughter told Howlin the neighbors said she had on the same clothes that she had on when she was working in her yard yesterday.

The medical examiner said Carolinamom may have died from a heart attack or stroke and said she didn't appear to have suffered the affects, and died peacefully.

She touched the lives of many here and elsewhere. She was a sweet and caring soul.

Please keep her closest friends and her immediate family in your thoughts and prayers today and in the days and years to come. Her daughters will certainly need the comforting prayers and loving embrace of our Lord and Savior. They're devastated this morning.

Oh no! I am so very sad. I really enjoyed interacting with Miriam on America - the Right Way! She leaves a void which will be impossible to fill.

I have not read the thread..... and just the ping...just returned form my mom’s funeral

and am shocked & so very saddened

JUST DAMN. forgive me but this is one sweet lady I was hoping to meet up FOR FIRST TIME FACE TO FACE with in next few weeks.

I have been caregiving my mom for 18 years, with her death I have some more travel freedom & was hoping go take a trip in mid Nov to see my son in NC & hook up w/her among many others locally.

I feel such a void...

well my sweet FReeper friend .. I do KNOW you have gone to your reward but my selfish side is reeling at this point.

to all.. capture every moment.. as you are never promised tomorrow.. hey, we aren’t promised the next hour.

What a shock.

Having lost my dear husband suddenly I know how devastating it is.
