The National Football Leagues political action committeeGridiron PAChas weighed in on the hotly contested U.S. Senate election in Nevada that pits conservative Republican challenger Sharron Angle against Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid.
The PAC has given $10,000 to Reidthe maximum it can give in a single election cycleand no money to Angle, according to Federal Election Commission data compiled by OpenSecrets.org.
The NFLs PAC also contributed to other incumbent Democratic senators facing viable challengers this year, giving $5,000 to Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas; $5,000 to Russ Feingold of Wisconsin; $5,000 to Barbara Boxer of California; $5,000 to Michael Bennet of Colorado; and $5,000 to Patty Murray of Washington.
In none of these races did the NFLs PAC contribute to the Republican challenger.
Of the $341,000 the NFLs PAC has contributed to congressional candidates in this election cycle, $340,000 has gone to incumbents. The other $1,000 went to Brian Rooney, an unsuccessful Republican primary candidate in a U.S. congressional district in Michigan, who is the grandson of Pittsburgh Steelers founder Art Rooney.

Screw them.
Dim bulbs with brain damage supporting brain damaged
politicians. Union members too. Completely expected
behavior. People will be buying tickets to watch
these libtards. Brilliant.
roger goodell’s father is charles goodell who ran agaist james buckley and lost to him. Charles was a rino and worse, so is son is just as bad. That election was fun the media felt buckley had no chance, but we fooled them...:)
Thanks Justaham.
This is incredibly stupid on the part of the NFL. Most NFL issues are non-partisan. They should be splitting their PAC money 50-50 for insurance purposes. Donating just to Rats right when they’re getting tossed out isn’t going to leave the GOP too disposed towards being terribly helpful to the NFL.
Could the NFL get any dumber?
The NFL backs the Party of Satan. Ho-hum. What a surprise.
This is the same outfit that thinks that Michael Vick is morally fit to be associated with the NFL, but Rush Limbaugh isn’t.
I am certain many games are fixed.

As a life-long Charger fan, I have to agree. Except for their debacle against SF when the Bolts just caved in to the pressure. But, other than that, they are one of the most penalized teams ever!
Any time they can stick it to Dallas is O.K. with me. That franchise is the symbol of everything that's wrong with big time sports in America.
NFL: "No Football League?" To be sure, I'm not sure what I have to give up watching if I want to avoid the NFL.
Say WA? Evergreen State ping

I’ll stop watching (and bitching about) my Seahawks when you can pry the remote from my cold, dead hands.
Not Canadiennes?

“I wish I could quit watching NFL but I already have.”
Same here; I’ll watch the Super Bowl if the Giants are in it, but that really is about it. Even then, if there’s anything else going on, I’d watch the highlights in the news.
I seriously don’t know how people can spend so much time watching so many commercials...
I’m not sure how to respond to that other than getting myself banned. So I’ll just say that.
I changed my mind.. if it gets me banned so be it. The guy hurt dogs. I get it. I have one. My dog is a member of my family. If you really feel the need to act like you have an IQ of 0 ok with me. Like it or not God feels we have a right to redemption through Jesus Christ not matter our sin. If you have a problem with God take it up with him because that is who you have a problem with.
I hope I never catch Brian France doing this...
