“The early voting numbers are favorable for Democrats, but here’s the caution — they are not as favorable as in 2008,” said Michael McDonald, a George Mason University professor who tracks early voting statistics around the country.

the stimulus program will keep unemployment at 8%...but then again it won’t...

This article is meaningless. It is the GOP AND a majority of Independents voters vs. the Democrats. If the indie turnout is strong, the Dems will be swamped.

Any word on how the Dead Democrats’ voters are breaking?

Them, and the multiple voters from vacant lots.

Reuters: Democrats off to good start in early voting

Ummm...NO!
Strong early-vote numbers for GOP

The enthusiasm gap between Republicans and Democrats has for months been cited as a harbinger to major Republican Party victories in the Nov. 2 mid-term elections.

And if early voting is any indication, that barometer appears justified, both locally and across Florida.

Through the first three full days of early voting, ending Wednesday, Republicans were dominating Democrats in Sarasota County. That is sending a panic through local Democrats who fear that unless the trend is quickly reversed, they could be looking at wholesale defeats, including a loss for incumbent state Rep. Keith Fitzgerald, D-Sarasota.

Of the 8,600 votes cast early in Sarasota County, just 30 percent were by Democrats. Republicans comprised 53 percent of the voters. The remaining 17 percent were supporters of minor parties or held no party affiliation.

Statewide, Republicans are also leading Democrats in early voting. Of the 778,000 early voters so far, just 33 percent statewide have been Democrats compared with 53 percent Republicans.”

While it is impossible to know who they voted for

Exactly, all my former Dem neighbors voted early, most are seniors & vote by mail, and they all have republican signs in their yards & are fed up with Obama.

Two of them have serious health issues & know the new HC will leave them without treatment, they are voting republican this time!

It is not results. For example, “Johnny”, who is a registered Democrat votes and gets checked off the list as already voted. No telling how “Johnny” voted, but newsgroups gather the numbers of registered voters by Party affiliates and publish the info.

Every election period the old tired Media Lefties cook up another Dem are doing just great propaganda piece. El Reuters is dragging out old Left Johnny Whitesides to peddle the talking points .

Agreed but the implication is being made by the MSM in an attempt to skew conservative turnout.

Translation: Democrats are churning fraudulent absentee voter ballots as quickly as they can fill them out.

“Reuters” lyrics by the 70’s punk band Wire:

Our own correspondant is sorry to tell
Of an uneasy time that all is not well
On the borders there’s movement
In the hills there is trouble
Food is short, crime is double
Prices have risen since the government fell
Casualties increase as the enemy shell
The climate’s unhealthy, flies and rats thrive
And sooner or later the end will arrive
This is your correspondant, running out of tape
Gunfire’s increasing, looting, burning, rape

It’s pretty obvious what they are doing..they are setting up a scenario that ANYTHING but total anhiliation of Dems on November 2nd is a victory for the Democrats. And we know, whether we want to believe or not, we are not going to take the Senate.

“Michael McDonald, a George Mason University professor “ How does this guy, quoted in one article, get recycled over and over and over again?

Reuters is getting desperate and the Dem late-surge meme is in full agitprop.

The truth: Dem early voting rate is generally 6% below Republican rates (NYT's Nate Silver via PoliPundit).

Furthermore, in most areas that have high Dem concentrations, the early Dem vote does not match that proportionally, while the Republican early vote rates are significantly above their proportion for the same area.

Nevada does not look that great. Republicans and Democrats are voting in very close proportion, the GOP advantage is only 2%. May not be enough for Angle to win.
