Airing right now...said the real unemployment is at 17.5%...showing tons of people with masters, bachelors, phd's, you name it...unemployed for 2 years...can't even get jobs at Target.

Well, he HAS failed. But he hasn't failed alone. Nearly 100% of the dems and perhaps half the Republicans helped him.
Regardless, I think they're setting the stage for the big Hillary!!? push for 2012. They're going to pin the whole thing on him, so that they can push a newer, better 'rat.

Have you noticed how the price of gas has shot up 20-30 cents in the last couple of weeks? This doesn’t help either. Though can you imagine if there were a McCain/Palin administration in office now? The other side would be screaming it’s the Republicans’ fault!! Vote Democrat! Now the media seem to be mostly silent about these price increases. What a surprise. (sarcasm)
There was a dem congress in 2006 but the economy really started going south in mid 2008 when the smarts realized that Obama would probably be elected.
They pulled back because no one knew that the worst wouldn’t happen. It did.
I expect to see a big bump in economic growth if Republicans take the House and Senate next week.

when the economy picks up, when exactly do you think that’s going to happen? It could be another four or five years into the future... or it may not happen at all.
Middle class has probably seen it’s day. The days are over for unskilled or minimally trained in this country, a large percentage of the middle class. Voters are outraged that municipal workers in menial jobs are making high 5 and low 6 figures. That’ll soon be over also. We’re farming out some of our highest tech jobs to India and China so engineers will be harder pressed to find good paying positions here. Everywhere you look it appears to be gloom and doom in the US market. The healthy tax base is no longer there and governments no longer have a gravy train to tap at will. Soon we’ll see massive layoffs in government at all levels.
The main stream media and the Washington elites really do have no idea.
