Trapped Chilean Miners Rescue Beginning. Live Coverage
(Excerpt) Read more at guardian.co.uk ...
Most of them have been living in a tent city on the site and the Minister of Mining and most of the ‘leaders’ have been visiting them regulary so I think they may have at least seen them around. That’s my guess for the ease they seem to have.
Love to hear their yells on the way up!
It’s a quote from Psalm 95:4 - RVA Psalm 95:4 En su mano están las profundidades de la tierra; suyas son las alturas de los montes.
In English:
ESV Psalm 95:4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.
For tonight, when the last guy comes up I have a nice bottle of Casillero del Diablo (Reserva) Carmenere 2007. (Casillero del Diablo = Cellar of the Devil)
So that is where it went!
Juan Aguilar up next. Age 49. Working in the mine for more than a year after travelling almost a thousand miles north from his family home to find work.
Boy, that last reunion really got to me...you would think I would be used to it.
Who watching last night would have figured it would go so well?
There wasn’t much of it left on the shelves at El Jumbo/Alto Los Condes! I guess others had the same idea!
Not so much. Of course, most of the kids I know are home schoolers.
I saw my first live retrieval about two hours ago, it was one of the most beautiful things I have seen since my kids were born.
Hi Rose!
I sat here and sobbed when that last reunion took place.
Does anyone know what is written on the back of the shirts?
Yep. See post 1023 above.
Awww...this one’s wife is really crying.
Looks pretty dark there now.
#29?
This poor woman is breaking down before he comes up. The president and his wife trying to console her. Poor thing. Such emotion they must all feel.
I can’t keep from weeping. This girl is so broken. This is one wonderful President and First Lady!!!!
Their President is still there!
Why can’t we have a President like that!
We’re seeing how a REAL President and First Lady act. It’s a beautiful thing!
I hope most of America is taking notes.
We did.
