Another Anita Dunn.

For the good of the little people against the capitalist roader running dogs, sometimes a despot’s gotta do, what a despot’s gotta do. You have to admire that in a leader.

Elizabeth Warren: First Amendment Right 'Scares Me', Needs 'Dialing Back'

Totalitarian, and dictatorial regimes are always afraid of Free Speech, particularly those like der Fuhrer 0bama's regime that came to power through a web of lies (like where he was born). They are always afraid the truth will come to light, and it is easier "to control the people" if they control the media and stifle Free Speech.

Every one can be free,
But they have to agree to be free.
They have to agree to be less free than me.
Because I rule the world, you see.

Who the heck do these people think they are!?

Dial back the first amendment? Too bad it isn't that that easy, liberal hack.

She is very bad news; I’m afraid we’ll be hearing quite a lot from her. And it’s telling that Obama did an end-run around the senate confirmation process for her. He’s ramming her down our throat.

So lobbiests and their clients ‘undercut the people’s business’, huh?

The people’s business...I suppose people and corporations affected by congress don’t have any business trying to influence ‘the people’s business’.

For some reason, its like a neon signboard just revealed her most inner belief system...which is government knows whats best for people, period!

More disturbingly, Warren suggested we need to work on "dialing back" that right.

She's right, scale it back to where it is less complicated, there's way too many rights to try and keep track of anyway. /ms

I was listening to a teleconference yesterday where one of the presenters was from Mass General. I’m now convinced that a large percentage of the Harvard faculty are nuts, and this was a medicine conference, so she’s no surprises since she’s a lawyer.

After all, Pres. Obama's newly appointed [not nominated] head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau went on Morning Joe today and in effect proclaimed that the right to petition government for the redress of government "scares" her. More disturbingly, Warren suggested we need to work on "dialing back" that right.

Claire Wolfe just called me.

She said it's time now.

As egregious as Elizabeth Warren's lack of knowledge of rights is, the writer of this piece has his own misunderstanding as well. And it is of the same sort.

He writes:
the First Amendment or the right it established to "petition government for a redress of grievances."
The First Amendment didn't establish rights. It simply recognizes them and protects them. Or it's supposed to anyhow.

This is not a minor quibble. The first principle of this republic is that our rights come from God, not from any man, and that those rights are therefore unalienable.

What man arbitrarily gives, he can arbitrarily take away.
