Michelle Obama thinks being America’s First Lady is ‘hell’, Carla Bruni reveals today in a wildly indiscreet new book.
Miss Bruni reveals that Mrs Obama replied when asked about her position as the U.S. president’s wife: ‘Don’t ask! It’s hell. I can’t stand it!’
Details of the private conversation, which took place at the White House during an official visit by Nicolas Sarkozy last March, emerged in Carla And The Ambitious, a book written in collaboration with Miss Bruni.

You don’t have to look to far back to remember First Lady Laura Bush. She was a wonderful First Lady, IMO.
Now I see the big picture.

I know and have met First Lady Laura Bush many times. She is always thoughtful of others first, gracious beyond protocol. She should be teaching other First Ladies a how to class. Michelle would be too good to consider her need for instruction. Somebody needs to tell her she is not “sexy”. Cover up your arms, MO! They are not pretty.
But, HONESTLY....you don’t think “we” voted for the pResident for his/her skills, intelligence, etc. THIS time around, do you?
NO of course not:) I hate BO just as much as the next freeper and Michelle does lack grace and beauty imo, but there is enough to harp on that we don’t need to belittle to the degree we do sometimes that’s all:) Scrutinizing her hips/butt/breast size. She cannot help these things, nor can anyone:)That’s all.....carry on lol

I don’t buy the “handlers” angle. Manchelle is a Princeton and Harvard graduate. She worked in a law firm. She’s in her 40’s. Unless she is blind, she had to know from many meetings and ceremonies that she has attended or spoken at over the last 20+ years that this dress was horribly off base. When she goes to a function to speak, she wears some weird outfits, but never anything as garish as this. I have to think it was a deliberate insult. Keep in mind they were on their way to give a medal indirectly connected to the killing of muzzies, and the family receiving it is WHITE. As insulting and hateful to America as both zero and Manchelle are, I have to think she did it deliberately. Before she hit the big time lifestyle of living off other people’s money, she didn’t dress like that. Remember during the early days of the campaign? She didn’t dress particularly well and some of her outfits were unflattering to her figure, but she didn’t wear outfits that were grossly inappropriate for the occasion.
Separating the dress from the occasion, it’s not a bad dress compared to most of her stuff, it fits well and looks better on her than many of her other get-ups. But even a decent enough dress like this can’t cure or even mask her bad posture and gawky, awkward arm swing and plodding, plowing giant-step walk.
She should consider spending a little of her own money for the purpose of attending modeling or charm school for a week or two, at least just enough to teach her how to stand, walk, carry herself and dress appropriately.

Her clothes are hideous and almost always inappropriate.
Did you see what she wore to the inauguration/swearing in zero to the presidency? She was wearing an acid yellow LAM’E (meaning “lamay” phonetically, but I can’t get this new keyboard to make the accent on the e like I used to be able to do on my old keyboard, lol) dress and matching jacket. My mom used to wear outfits similar to that (in the 1950’s and 1960’s) to COCKTAIL parties!!! Again, Manchelle wearing party clothes to a solemn daytime affair. That night at the inaugural ball she had on the silliest looking dress I’ve ever seen. It looked like a birthday cake, meaning one of those white, frothy, festooned ball gowns that Scarlet O’Hara wore in “Gone With the Wind.” Was that supposed to be some sort of racial commentary, “See me, dis black girl goin’ to the white folks’ cotillion? No mo’ darktown strutter’s ball for me!! Ha-ha!” She’s so sick with hate whitey racism it seems entirely probable that it drives her wardrobe choices.
She dressed better BEFORE she got to the White House. It’s like the money and the attention have brought out the worst in her, which is why Carla Bruni’s claim that Manchelle said she hates being FLOTUS rings solidly true.
She seems to think there is an ‘h’ in the word, “struggle”, a word she uses a lot. Myself, I can’t find that ‘h’, but, hey, it’s just me. What do I know compared to a Princeton and Harvard grad living large in the WH?
Carla is white and beautiful. She has blue eyes. Manchelle is black and ugly. That’s what the glare is all about.
