Let there be no mistake: The National Republican Senatorial Committee and I personally as the committees chairman strongly stand by all of our Republican nominees, including Christine ODonnell in Delaware.
I reached out to Christine this morning, and as I have conveyed to all of our nominees, I offered her my personal congratulations and let her know that she has our support. This support includes a check for $42,000 the maximum allowable donation that we have provided to all of our nominees which the NRSC will send to her campaign today.

Just heard Carl Cameron on FNC say the $42K that the NRSC has given to O’Donald is all they can do with a cash donation by law but the NRSC can support her in other ways with 100s of thousands to millions. Carl said he did not expect that other help for her from the RNSC.

Republican Party Shaddow Leadership in Exile
At various times during world history, nations have been invaded, their territory taken over by a foreign power. One might think of France during World War II.
At the present time, the Republican Party in the United States has been invaded by Democrats, and is therefore not representing it's core consituency.
Candidates run for office to represent Conservatism, something that is supposed to be the core of our party. Then what happens?
When John McCain ran for the nomination to represent the RP in 2010, the rank and file tried to replace him. J. D. Hayworth was the go-to guy.
This set up a situation where the rank and file had to battle the party elites. Sarah Palin and a number of national level Republican office holders came to McCain's defense, endorsing him. J. D. was trashed in the process. Who holding a party office actually gave a damn about Conservatism? Who came out to endorse Hayworth? Nobody!
Look folks, none of us are sending a dime to the Republican party these days. People like Palin go out and stump for the party, and infuse money into it, but if you're a Conservative, you're not donating.
Yesterday O'Donnell won the nomination to represent the good people of Deleware. Then Carl Rove went on national television to talk about her negatives. Folks you don't do this if you truly want the person to be elected. You hand the opposition a huge playing card when you trash your own politicians. Rove actually did this.
When McCain won, the party said, "Well, we know you folks don't like him, but for the good of the cause, we need to make sure we become the majority. Back McCain."
Now O'Donnell wins, and that line of reasoning was tossed out the window. Rove goes on national televison and doesn't ask folks to support her so we can become the majority.
I submit it's time for an exile leadership of the Republican Party to be formed, in order for reasoned leadership to be publicly available to those who actually do support Conservatism.
Then I suggest we not only support that exile leadership, but do our damnedest to get that exile leadership installed in RNC central.
It's time for a grass roots revolt. The RNC doesn't speak for me. It hasn't for a long long time.
This has essentially already taken place. O'Donnell is getting funding from every quarter today. The RP isn't. The RNC is being bypassed by the rank and file.
I would like to see this made formal. We've all been thinking it. We've all be doing it. Why not develop a public entity that speaks for us for a change?
Then let's do our best to get that entity installed at the RNC.

Cornyn needs to resign. What a pathetic piece of spineless jellyfish. He can’t recognize real discontent in the country. His equivocating behavior clearly shows what the Republican party machine is all about,...power,...rather than what is good for the country. All these GOP power-drooling apparatchiks need to go. Otherwise there will never be change. Just a changing of nameplates, and staffers.

Yes. They screwed up BIGtime last night. They dropped their mask so-to-speak, and exposed themselves as the Stealth Leftists the RINO’s actually are.
I believe they are trying now to cover themselves again before too many see them as the actual Stealth Leftists they are.
The Radical Left took control of the Democrat party a number of years ago, and have been working on taking over the GOP for as many a year. They have the reins now, but not the entire horse, and carriage. We should be able to retake the GOP I would believe.

Probably backpedaling, but I have to ask, what was the media’s source on this? All I can find is “Bret Baier said on Fox,” so could they have gotten it wrong? Roague staffer of something?

Back pedaling my as$! People on here we taken ONCE AGAIN by the MSM (including Fox) that tried to infer something was said, that never was! All for the goal of hurting the GOP, causing needless anomosity and chaos.
Ruck up people! The enemy is the left and the MSM. Not those within our own Party (yes, I know Rove's comments last night were out of line. He knows better).
To: Pining_4_TX
They are backstabbers. Dont think for a moment you can trust them. If the Tea Party candidates lose, they will be all over that, gloating. Consultants like Rove have a conflict of interest. It's to his direct benefit that Christine O'Donnell lose to validate his prognostication skills. My sense is he'll be undercutting her every way he can to make it as difficult as possible for her.
I hope O'Donnell runs ads about how she ran against the party bosses and won. I think they would resonate in this political environment.

Yup.
Rove was just on FOX news restating what he spewed last night and more.
Blah, Blah, Blah.......she has money problems......she can’t win.....blah, blah, blah.
Rove is a piece of garbage.
Trashed her twice in a 24 hour period. Unbelievable.

Backpedaling perhaps? I said last night that FReepers were jumping the gun and taking leftist bait on this.
To: muawiyah
I kept posting that observation too.
I never actually heard a JC make a statement. Al I heard was innuendo / spin coming from Left Wing media sources and the screaming assumptions from Fox News which has become Katrinaized in its reporting. The media is trying to promote the GOP is extreme/ falling apart story line to help the Dems as usual.
