I do plumbing poorly

I do simply things...but my last plumbing problem needed a real plumber! (They're expensive these days..whoa!

I wash windows...it's the repairing I don't do. We have double paned windows and they get moisture between the panes and all you can do is replace them. NOT gonna be done by an amateur!

I have been “slapping” them like crazy, and they just ignore
me! LOL! Maybe next year will be better.

On a brighter note, we do have a baby fig tree growing. :D

He did a fabulous job putting it all together. Some years he is able to post it himself, some years he is somewhere in the world helping keep us free and safe. This year he is somewhere near a base in Kadahar, Afghanistan.

I laughed to myself but only because I remember that being said by others years ago. I never had siblings who said it nor did either one of mine ever say cuz there was plenty of room.

Started out with lemons so I made some lemonade.

Woke up way too early today when the local utility company shut the electricity off.

Funny how sudden silence can be as jarring as a loud crash.

They have been doing “updates” in the neighborhood for months.

Anyway couldn’t make any coffee so I got up, went out to breakfast and then shopped all day.

I had to sleep with one of my sisters in a twin bed...

She practically drew a line down the middle with a magic marker.

It was hell being the one next to the wall, especially if you had to make a midnight run to the wc.
