For the most part, people from Mexico and Central America just attempted to torch an apartment building 40 minutes ago so this is ramping up a few notches.
This is the 3rd night in a row...Their current excuse for taking to the streets is the fatal shooting by LAPD of a drunken Guatemalan, who was likely here illegally, was threatening people with a knife 3 days ago, in broad daylight.
Generally this would not be breaking news, but since television news media in LA is all but ignoring this, I thought it should go in breaking news.
This is occurring in Westlake District, just west of downtown...LAPD is still on tactical alert. This area is nearly 100 percent Hispanic, with probably 75 percent here illegally, wiht the rest being home grown.

A consul general is a diplomat who runs a consulate. A consulate is like a embassy, representing a foreign nation. A nation has one embassy in a host nation but may have any number of consulates as agreed by the host nation.

In it, he gives a rather detailed elaboration about professional Communist agitators and their tactics. Quite enlightening reading, and probably quite pertinent to what’s happening there.
Best case scenario is that they do enoungh damage to warrant NATION NEWS.

Most of the third world shitholes south of our border have a consulate in the U.S.. The honchos from each respective country that runs these little fiefdoms is called a “consulate general”. It’s sort of like an ambassador/foreign government legal functionary/union rep all rolled into one.

Actually, it’s “it’s martial law,...”, with an apostrophe before the s in “it’s”, and martial law isn’t capitalized.
Actually, an embassy is a presence of a foreign nation whose sovereignty is recognized by the host nation. It is an actual representation of a foreign government in the host nation. A consulate’s office doesn’t have the same standing or privileges that an embassy does and is merely a home government functionary presence to assist expats and citizens from the home nation with documentation and legal matters arising in the host nation. They generally aren’t considered a diplomatic presence.
