And you thought that a libtalker declaring a public space too sacred for God would be the dumbest quote from the Left on the Restoring Honor rally hosted by Glenn Beck. Michael Graham from Bostons WTKK posts a clip of Governor Deval Patrick responding to a question about the rally by noting first that its a free country and then that hes not terribly happy about that, either:

Isn’t Patrick up for re-election? That’s opposition tv ad material.
So, Governor, which groups would you wish had no right to gather on government land? Can you provide a list?

Toss in Dingell’s comments about health care to “control the people.” It’s all about control.

You can easily free yourself from your pain of having to live in this country with a cheaply purchased handgun and ammunition.

Also Maxine Waters statement about nationalizing the oil companies.
"And guess what this liberal would be all about. This liberal will be about socializing
uh, um.
"
(long pause)
"Would be about, basically, taking over, and the government running all of your companies.

Just like others who wish Obastard was a dictator, Patrick is wistful for a totalitarian regime where he can punish dissidents.

According to Wikipedia, the German Marxist immigrant to the US Joseph Weydemeyer used the title "The Dictatorship of the Proletariat" in an article published by
The New York Times (where else?) on January 1, 1852. Karl Marx later used the phrase.
Deval Patrick is only a couple of Democrat Presidents away from getting his wish.
To: hometoroost
NOT. He was saying he wished that those at the rally didn’t have the right to be there. Well I say if you don’t wish the country to be free, you lose your freedom! We’ll even give you a choice. You can work for someone for the rest of your life and depend on them for your housing, food, clothes, and all personal needs, but if you leave, you die. Or, you can go to prison and work for the government for the rest of your life.

Wow, he said this openly. It says much not only about Patrick himself, but his political supporters and allies around the country.
