Good greif I think this is where the phrase
Cut off you nose to spite your face!
It is a good thing the founding fathers of the 11 different state religions out of 13 states could fine common ground or we would never have a constitution!
no matter who you think you are or know about religion This is a fact Contention does not come from the Lord, nor is the author of it....

Well and truly said
***It is a good thing the founding fathers of the 11 different state religions out of 13 states could fine common ground or we would never have a constitution!***
None of which:
-denied the Trinity
-thought Lucifer was the spiritual brother of Jesus
-thought they could become God
-believed in works righteousness
In other words Resty, they were all Trinitarians. They were all Christians.
Ha ha ha!
Tell us; you ex-PRESBYTERIAN; just what did JS learn to be UNTRUE about your old religion?
Hey, I love my Lds extended family.
* By all means, let's serve Boy Scout troops together.
* Let's feed the poor together at our food pantries.
* Let's continue to join together in funding campaigns like Prop 8 in CA.
But when Mormon rally-leaders start tossing out the framework of a "god" as supposed "common ground" -- a god who...
...was supposedly once a spirit-turned-man-turned god...
...was never God from eternity past...
...who's only going to let temple Mormons live with him forever (yes, you non-Mormons...if you think Christianity is exclusive, read the "fine print" of Mormon doctrine & you'll see that they teach that God the Father is ONLY going to live with married temple Mormons forever!)
...then how is that "promoting" a common ground?
How is it on the one hand that we have Beck the "rally leader"
-- yet on the other hand we have Beck the Mormon missionary?
Joanna Brooks, a liberal Mormon, wrote an article Oct. 8, 2009 at ReligionDispatches.org entitled "How Mormonism Built Glenn Beck." Here's an excerpt from article:
Beck, who was raised Catholic in Washington state, has produced, with the help of Mormon Church-owned Deseret Book Company, the DVD An Unlikely Mormon: The Conversion Story of Glenn Beck (2008); Mormon fansites invite visitors to learn more about Becks beliefs by clicking through to the official Web site of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
So when you go to the Lds church-owned Webg site at http://deseretbook.com -- what description do we find about Beck's DVD entitled An Unlikely Mormon: The Conversion Story Of Glenn Beck? Here's an excerpt of Deseret's description of GLENN BECK's PRESENTATION that GLENN BECK APPROVED for his religious body to circulate worldwide!
An Unlikely Mormon shows the real Glenn Beck. But be careful, Glenn's enthusiasm for his faith is contagious. ...In this presentation, Glenn Beck tells an audience of nearly 7,000 about his conversion to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints...Glenn bears his testimony about home teaching, tithing, and the transforming power of the Spirit. ...Glenn's story will strengthen the testimony of any Latter-day Saint. In addition, An Unlikely Mormon will be an ideal missionary tool.
There ya go. Glenn Beck, the new Mormon missionary pied piper!!! (With converts galore!!!)
