"As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country," Obama said, weighing in for the first time on a controversy that has riven New York and the nation. "That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."

I seem to remember that Obama took an oath of office to protect and defend this country from all enemies from within and without who seek to destroy this country.

What book was his hand on when he took that oath? Does anyone have a picture? I can't say for sure, but I thought he used the Bible and the koran (which I think would be considered sacrilege by both religions)

I know a man who worked at one of the buildings at the World Trade Center (not tower 1 or 2). He said that he came out and wanted to help people on that day but all he saw were the people who had jumped slamming into the ground and exploding like watermelons. He said that when they hit the ground it sounded like "plunk..plunk...plunk" and that when they hit the ground they would disintegrate and that a red mist would spray up from them. He was very upset for a long time after seeing what happened that awful day.

I have no idea about whether Freemasonry has a part in this, nor do I know what a “masonic handshake” looks like. I do believe Obama is a Muslim quisling, and very likely an agent of Al Queda. His objective is certain: the annihilation of the American republic in favor of a Islamic theocracy. He will achieve this goal by:

Conditioning America’s youth to reject authority

I beg to differ with your first line up to the colon. I understand his goal, and his MO. His goal, given to him by his masters, is to destroy America. Since there is no way to “fundamentally change America,” without destroying her first. And, from the looks of things, Obama’s mission is on course.

First comes US bankruptcy, then comes rioting and looting in the streets by govt dependents, then comes martial law, then comes King Hussien, then comes sharia law, then finally, when all legal remedies have been exhausted, comes the second civil war.

I hope you’re right. He was at 47% approval in the latest NBC/WSJ poll. He has a 45% avg in the last month or so. Hardly a catastrophe. He’s nowehere near the high 20s/low 30s that W as from 2006 on. Or that Carter was at for most of 1980 or Bush for most of 1992. If the economy picks up even a smidgen he’ll be back above 50 in no time. Of course they’ll run him in 2012.

As for the mosque, I’ve read where it’s religiously forbidden to build a mosque above pig remains or other forbidden things. Some should go to a butcher and get some surplus pork and bury it in the cement at the site. It will tarnish the area and it won’t be allowed to be used as a mosque.

EVERY TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC knows and understands the threat of Islam. History teaches us who Obama is and what he is about to do. We have traveled this awful road before my friends. All the cheap and intellectually lazy propaganda not withstanding, every Catholic knows the true history of the Crusades, why they were morally and politically justified, and, most importantly, why they failed to stop the advance of the Islamic menace.

We know better than most the danger this false religion represents for the world, if it should ever again be allowed to gain the upper hand. Islam understands only one dictum: the sword. There are very distinct Freemason handshakes depending on your level.

However, it is hard for me to tell when it is a handshake because of awkwardness or for example,some men shake women's hands differently. Also, Bush Sr gave one to Bush Jr during a 9/11 memorial but it could have been because of their awkward position.

But what convinced me was the myterious movement of a painting that had been in the same place through 16 years of Presidency..only to be moved when Obama came in for the photo op. (of course, it could have been moved before then) It was left up for awhile because there are pictures of Obama meeting in that room with the picture above the fireplace. But it wasn't there for the Matt Lauer interview.

Thank you so much! One of the really horrible things about this mosque controversy, is that it is dredging up again the very real horror that many of us experienced on 9/11 and the days that followed. I know that many people in this country need to be reminded again and again of the events of that day, and maybe the reminders that come from this mosque nonsense will provide yet another wake up call, but those of us who were touched directly can really do without it. We will never forget!!
