On Tuesday's American Morning, CNN's Jeanne Moos picked up on the viral video of Boy Scouts booing President Obama's taped message to the recent National Jamboree, but got in a light jab at the youth for their behavior: "Booing would seem to go against some of the 12 tenets of Boy Scout Law. A Boy Scout is 'trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind'- wait a minute, 'courteous and kind'?"
The correspondent, known for her light reports for the network, concluded the 6 am Eastern hour with "unique take" on the video, as anchor John Roberts put it. Moos noted that "45,000 Scouts were celebrating the 100th anniversary of Scouting" in the United States at the Jamboree, which was held at the U.S. Army's Fort A.P. Hill in Virginia, and that "two months earlier, the White House informed the Scouts that the President had prior commitments."
Moos continued that the "Scouts...booed the President's message, and this 23-second video made its way on to conservative websites, which slammed the President for forsaking the Boy Scouts to appear on 'The View.'" She later gave the Obama administration's explanation for the apparent snub: "The White House says 'The View' had nothing to do with it- that the President was already scheduled to be on the road that day."

The scouts had it right. I’m glad they didn’t bow down and worship the worst president ever.
Technically, I suppose, she’s right.
The amazing thing about the booing, though, is its spontaneity and widespread nature, the gut reaction to being dissed by the Hoper-in-Chief and without being organized by any conspiracy. And, you don’t hear any applause, either, or any apparent attempt to silence the protest. This tiny incident speaks volumes. What’s more, it is . . .
The very definition of the Tea Party sentiment. If people, even young people, do not speak up, their opinions will be lost. The final poll results on all this comes early November. We’ll see.
I wonder,does she have big,oh never mind
Jeanne Moos is proof that being blonde and blue eyed an beautiful is not necessary for being a TV info babe.
On CNN, blonde and blue eyed is all that is required.
The guy who uses our Constitution for a door matt wants respect from the Boy Scouts.
Let him earn it.
obama was just given the same “respect” that he accords the BSA.
obama has earned the boos.
More to come.
On my honor
I will do my best
To do my duty
To God and my country
And to obey the Scout Law;
To keep myself
Physically strong,
Mentally awake,
And morally straight.
All the more power to the real citizens of America, boo the false leader, speak the truth, spread the word to those that are negatively affected by this impostor pretending to be the most powerful nation on Earths leader.
He is a rotten actor that cannot read his script unless its in front of him, he mocks every facet of a Christian lifestyle that America has become.
Our future leaders often have roots by becoming Boy Scouts, I am so glad that they chose to express their feelings from the heart and mind.
The first thing an oppressive dictator style country does is to steal the youth away and kill the parents.
And Moos isn’t a journalist.
Hey, Ms. Moos - answer this one simple question: would you have felt compelled to speak out against this had this been George W Bush addressing the Scouts?
I’d boo that spineless communist SOB if I had the chance, too. After all, he’s been booing the US for years.
It was kind of low class. Respect the office of the President if not the man holding it.
“It was kind of low class. Respect the office of the President if not the man holding it.”
This was my first thought. But my second thought was that at some point, a president could become such a threat to our American way of life that even the Scouts would boo him.
Jeanne Moose or Buffalo Jeanne?
The Poseur doesn’t care about the ‘cheerful and kind’ part; he just wants them ‘obedient’.
The boo’s were a protest against the President sending a video instead of coming himself.
They would not have boo’ed him in person, since they invited him and they would have been pleased if he’d chosen to address them in person.
There is only hearsay evidence that she is not. No one actually SAW her on CNN.
One of the unwritten Boy Scout tenants is knowing the difference between sh*t and shinola...
