The Freeper Canteen Presents

“What Is The Origin Of Your Screen Name Part II”

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to the Second Edition Of "What Is The Origin Of Your Screen Name"

How did you choose your screen name?

Did you get it from the military?

A Famous Actor?

A fictional character?

A time in History?

In my own case, I was thinking about a screen name, and I heard “Ain’t misbehavin” on the radio.

A few days later, my MIL send me a cute book about a kitteh named Ms. Behavin.

That same week, I bought a new blouse and the tag inside said Msbehavin, and the rest is history!

Come share the story of your screen name with us! Have fun!

Please remember that The Canteen is a place for our Troops and their families to rest, relax, and relate.

Please check thy politics at the door. A gentle reminder from Ms B.

Evening Peaches, Hugs.

Funny you should call me peaches.

Eastern Washington peaches just made it to my humble kitchen recently, (Mrs. Pro came back from Yakima), they are juicy, sweet and to die for!!

Whassup Taz!!??

Aloha ProCon!

Well....for one you live in Oregon and two, you live in Oregon. (Once upon a time Oregon was a very conservative state, no sales tax, no fishing licenses for beach fishing and no hippies. The good ole days.)

Mine is from the Rush song (and album) 2112.

And one man’s struggles against the ruling powers:

We’ve taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
It’s one for all and all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why

Right -- LOL. Even a Canadian country song has to keep its American connections in mind. Here's another one for you . . . it's called "Big Horns" (after the mountain range in Wyoming), and it has an interesting mix of instruments for a country/western song (electric and acoustic guitars, piano, and even an accordion . . . almost a Spanish/Mexican sound to some of the guitar strains).

My screen name is a family heirloom that I inherited from my grandfather... the ORIGINAL "Willie Green"
It's merely the English translation of our actual family name.

I lived in North County San Diego and was in a restaurant called “Rocket Wraps” in Cardiff by the Sea where I lived.

I saw a huge picture of Eddie Aikau on the wall with the words Eddie would go. I looked him up on my “roadrunner” ISP.

Eddie was taken, although I’ve never seen eddie?
