A Democratic congressional candidate has told police he was assaulted near downtown Spokane after making sexual advances to another man.
David R. Fox, who moved to Spokane from Port Angeles recently to run against Republican U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, told police he wasn't injured in Sunday's altercation. But he is pressing charges against the man.
Fox is one of four Democrats in the Aug. 17 primary. The attorney entered the race at the last minute and has no known campaign office or website. He could not be reached for comment.

What about counter charges for unwanted sexual advances?
“Fox has come to the attention of law enforcement several times in the past year in Clallam County and Spokane.”.....
Apparently.....He also came to the attention of someones fist.....
Could one make a career out of making unwanted sexual advances on women and suing them for slapping them?
Indeed. What kind of perv is he that he would admit such a thing? If a guy does that to a girl it’s called sexual assault, or one degree, or another.
Note to gays:
If you make sexual advances to a straight guy, expect to get punched in the mouth.
It’s a natural reaction to the insulting, disgusting suggestion that he might be interested.
Well, he is an attorney...
Remember ten or twenty years ago when gays would **SWEAR** that they were never attracted to straight men...
Job opportunity....
This will now put him “on top” in the Dem primary field
Last time I looked making unwanted sexual advances(I am assuming physical type advances)was a form of assault and thus subject to self defense by the assaultee. If I was the guy I would bring counter charges against the faggot.
We have a winner. If my husband did anything less than a knockdown punch in those circumstances, I would lose all respect for him.
You remember the case awhile back where a guy grabbed a girls boob in a bar and she sued him for rape? That is when it started some posters here when a rape story was posted they’d ask “was it rape/rape”.
Interestingly, the homosexual democrat congressional candidate moved from the liberal west of the cascades to the more conservative east in order to run against a particular republican candidate. I wonder how Spokane will view a carpet bagging, predatory homosexual candidate.

Cool, a newbie dem gets decked while offering to clean a strangers pipes, and somehow the stranger is going to be sued? Must be a blue state.
I sometimes wonder how long it took the guy to regain consciousness after he caressed the back of my head while I was taking a leak in the Denver Airport mens room. I was still in the military and in uniform at the time. Wtf was he thinking?
This is just so wrong on so many levels.
SPOKANE, Wash. - A former Clallam County lawyer who is now a Democratic congressional candidate in Spokane has told police he was assaulted near downtown Spokane after making sexual advances to another man.
Fox has come to the attention of law enforcement several times in the past year in Clallam County and Spokane.
He's been accused of sexually harassing a former client and driving under the influence, but it appears the harsh allegations have not sapped David Fox's political ambitions.
In June, Fox was arrested by Port of Seattle police after a ticket agent called authorities to report that a man wearing a floppy hat, khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt repeatedly pulled out a knife and asked "weird questions."
The driver was unsteady on his feet and kept repeating the same questions, telling me over and over that I need to call the Clallam County Sheriff's Office so they could tell me who he was and that he was running for office," the Port of Seattle police report said. "He told me over and over that he is an attorney, and that I have no right to stop him."
Another officer spotted a marijuana pipe on the passenger's seat, and a search turned up a bag of marijuana and prescription pills for which Fox had no prescription, the report said.
How could a democrat be offended when one of their protected minorities offers free services?
A Republican would be in jail by now.
