Gunowners Celebrate New Gun Law(AZ)

GLENDALE - Second Amendment supporters were out celebrating Thursday night at an Arizona park, and guns were welcome.

The new law, which prevents Arizona cities from banning firearms in city parks, went into effect July 29.

The law also allows people to carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Arizona is now the third state, behind Alaska and Vermont, to allow concealed weapons without a permit.

Candidates for local offices showed up for the event.

"Today is a day we're celebrating the liberties that people lost and regained in the last legislative session," said Arizona State Senator Jack Harper.

Critics of the new law say it makes everyone less safe and makes any trip to the city park more dangerous.

There are a few exceptions to the law. Weapons cannot be carried into a bar or restaurant that serves alcohol. They also can't be carried into businesses that prohibit weapons.

Time to go into that park where the foreign invader drug “lords” have taken over and do some midnight shooting practice.

...everyone less safe and makes any trip to the city park more dangerous.

Sure. Vermont and Alaska have rampant crime waves and blood flowing in their parks 'cause of concealed weapons. I'm sure I read about the horror they experience, but I just can't find the evidence...

Homosexual “Critics of the new law say it makes everyone less safe and makes any trip to the city park more dangerous.”

There, fixed it.

I haven't been to a city park in California for about 20 years. I'm not that brave... or stupid.

Does anyone know how many CCW permit holders have used their weapons OFFENSIVELY in establishments serving alcohol?(Hint: Less than 1/10 of 1% of those who have used them DEFENSIVELY)

That’s because liberalism is all about making the individual liberal feel good about himself and think he matters.

They reflexively and automatically stop thinking about an issue at exactly the point where they feel good about themselves for their position on that issue.

Looks like a crime map! The blue states have a lot lower crime than the RED or yellow.

So don't carry in a Costco. Or you might find yourself on the receiving end of the same treatment that fellow in Las Vegas received a few weeks back. What ever happened with that story? Notice it never made it to the Apparatchik Media.

Has anyone else found it amusingly strange that the land of Ben and Jerry's, the Soviet Socialists state of Vermont is so liberal on their gun policies?

Why is New Jersey shown as a “May-Issue” State? They almost certainly will NOT issue. It might SAY so on paper, but reality is different.

I’ve tried. Was told flat out by the Sgt of the NJSP firearms unit that it would be refused by the Superior Court judge.

Basically it went like this....

“Why?”

Answer:
“Because...”

“yeah, but why?”

Answer:
“Because...”

“I have a constitutional right...”

Answer:
“Not in New Jersey...”

Then I said:
“My carry license is recognized by 23 other states...”

Answer:
“New Jersey doesn’t recognize it...”

Not kidding.

“..Has anyone else found it amusingly strange ..”

Funny you mention it, devil dog...
I find it absolutely hilarious to think that Libs up there are walking around in a perpetual state of abject fear because people are “allowed” to carry firearms - and there’s not a damned thing they can do about it.

Brings a smile to me ol’ craggy face and a tear o’ joy to me eyes every time... It’s the LITTLE things in life that mean so much!!!
