After the civil-rights organization threatened to issue a condemnation of Tea Party activism by equating it with racism (a position from which they ultimately retreated), Andrew Breitbart announced that he would publish at least one video of the NAACP itself cheering racism. Breitbart delivers on that promise today at Big Government, showing USDA official Shirley Sherrod explain to an appreciative NAACP audience in July 2009 how she deliberately withheld information from a white farmer in Georgia trying to save his land and his business:

I'm not sure that battling this argument with the truth coming from white people is the way to go. The whole thing is more like a pep rally than a debate.
Time for this story to get some rest. The card the teacher gave to Dan spelled the word "Potatoe" either the teacher was stupid, or it was a setup. Would you doubt the spelling if a classroom teacher handed it to you? You might, but not right out of the box you wouldn't.

I can assure you that this is the only blip you'll see on this issue. I live in the heart of NAACPville and her resignation means nothing with regards to the issue at hand.

It was from the beinning an utter non-story, illustrating the power of the Media to creat news.
That power remains largely undimished.
All you have to do is ask your friends what they are hearing about in the news. The answer will be whatever the Press feels is important and USEFUL to their cause...like Bristol Palin’s mis-steps.
This is just the reverse of what is happening every day. White administrators/case workers of gov’t giveaway programs will never audit nor turn down a minority applicant, even if said applicant has a sketchy or incomplete application. Better safe than sorry and grant eligibility to a minority than be called a ‘racist’ and get sued by some Al Sharpton type. Believe me when I say qualified white people who apply for these programs are turned down more often than not in order to make statistics look good on the war on poverty (see how many MINORITIES we are helping??; pat pat pat ourselves on the back)
If by “their own kind” you mean humans, then, yes, I give preferential treatment to humans over, say, cattle, pigs, or ducks. But if by “their own kind” you mean race, you have an evil shallow mind and need to do some serious soul searching. Judge people by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin.

I think the Obama Administration should be asked about this ‘incident’ ASAP. We should also demand a full accounting of all USDA funds to ascertain whether discrimination of white and non black farmers has been ‘institutionalized’ by the USDA. I have a feeling that this woman and her racist discrimination at the USDA (and other government programs) is not an isolated incident. The NAACP clearly showed by their applause that they approve of this kind of reverse discrimination by the government.
It’s time for answers and TRUE transparency in Obama’s regime.
The only problem with that is she is a public official who is supposed to help all applicants just not the ones of her color.

I don't know if or how many are discriminating against people of other races but many times when someone doesn't get what they think they deserved, it's because of the white man aka US govt.
If a black police officer arrests a black suspect, it's still racism.
Using tit for tat logic is silly when the argument is purely emotional.
Racism is as silly as giving preferential treatment to black haired people over blondes.
