Move over Sarah Palin, Newt is "serious."
Newt Gingrich said he is considering a run for president in 2012 and will make his final decision early next year.
"I've never been this serious," Gingrich told the AP.
The former House speaker said he will be helping fellow Republicans get reelected in the midterms, but will decide in February or March whether to seek the nomination.
Credited with the Republican takeover of the House during Bill Clintons presidency in 1994, Gingrich even fronted the movement to impeach the President during the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

If it comes down to those two, I'll take Palin. Fortunately, it shouldn't.

I have my doubts as to whether either one of them would be electable.

I would too. Through Haley Barbour into the mix and Newt comes in third. All other republicans will kindly get the F* out of the way and not clog up the works.

No such luck. Romney and Huck and Pawlenty each think it’s their turn.

I love Newt and I think he’s got more brains in his little finger than anyone currently in DC has in their whole bodies. It’s too bad Newt has so much baggage—the socialists will destroy him.

Yeah, and I’m serious about playing in the Super Bowl.
Stick to your day job, Newt. Whatever the heck that is.

Whatever else some might think about Newt he is politically savvy. I think if he HONESTLY plans on gauging his level of support in Iowa he’ll find that his ship has sailed.

If he’s so smart, why was he pimping Algore’s global warming farce?
