President Obama on controlling the debt: "Somehow people say, why are you doing that, I'm not sure that's good politics. I'm doing it because I said I was going to do it and I think it's the right thing to do. People should learn that lesson about me because next year when I start presenting some very difficult choices to the country, I hope some of these folks who are hollering about deficits and debt step-up because I'm calling their bluff. We'll see how much of that, how much of the political arguments that they're making right now are real and how much of it was just politics."

Your OMB director Orszag just left, supposedly over the fact you weren’t going to do anything about debts or deficits except spend more. The budget you talk about ? You’re not even going to present a budget until Congress is lame duck. Orszag’s actions speak louder than your words.

Obama is such a liar. In the video, he calls for a three-year spending freeze, yet his proposed budget for next year already includes a 5.5% spending increase.

The last year the Republicans controlled Congress, the federal budget was $2.7 trillion. Today it is %3.6 trillion - an increase of 33%. In Congressman Wilson's immortal words - "YOU LIE!"

The country needs to put real conservatives in this fall. He won't be able to do the things he wants and especially won't be able to do the things we don't want him to do.
His statement should be used as a campaign tool for anyone running. I think it may scare the hell out of any voter that feels a little scared by what he has done and not done but is susceptible to beautiful speeches and white guilt etc. His arrogance seems to be the one thing that people notice and are getting tired of real quick. Some of the issues he is trying to ignore aren't going away, even with the assist if the MSM. He will only get more arrogant and defensive as this summer moves on, and people will hate him for it. This is the only thing that will stop him, as it seems most are clueless to the real issues.

My brother in law met this evil creep this spring as a CEO of a decent size US/ Inmternational company.

He was shaken by the meeting and by who in control of the White house.
