The Obama administration has been holding behind-the-scenes talks to determine whether the Department of Homeland Security can unilaterally grant legal status on a mass basis to illegal immigrants, a former Bush administration official who spoke with at least three people involved in those talks told FoxNews.com.

The issue was raised publicly by eight Republican senators who wrote to the White House on Monday to complain that they had heard the administration was readying a "Plan B" in case a comprehensive immigration reform bill cannot win enough support to clear Congress.

The White House would not confirm or deny the claim. But the former Bush official said the discussions are real.

Well, he could simply sign an executive order, but that would lay the blame directly at the so and so’s feet...and right now he seems to be trying to avoid that, but I have no doubt that he will do it if that's the only way he can get their stinkin votes....as for Congress, he is managing to make Congress irrelevant...they aren't doing their job anyway.....since when can they just shrug and say “sorry,we're not making out a budget now”....and they are getting by with it...my mind is spinning with all that those Chicago Thugs ...with the help of the criminal, treasonous Congress that we've got.are getting by with....the whole bunch should have been brought up before the courts months ago, and that guy in the white house right along with them.

You mean, sir, when Senator John McCain is no longer facing a primary election. Or has been defeated therein.

It will be McCain's last chance to punish all those conservative "a$$holes" and "bigots" he and his apprentice, Lindsay Graham, were insulting throughout his campaign.

Brownback, Gregg, Bond and Voinovich are certainly risks -- but they don't have the scores to settle that Johnny McCain does...

Obama stinks of fear.

He is incompetent and out of control - it is becoming more and more obvious every day as he takes mistep after mistep.

I doubt the military would take any orders seriously if he ordered them to kill fellow Americans. But Obama’s window of opportunity to complete his ‘agenda’ is closing quickly as he’s sure to lose total control of Congress this November. The next four-and-a-half months will be critical.

If conservatives in Congress can’t be unified in the face of Obama’s thugs, what do you imagine would happen on an urban killing field where none of us would know who to trust?

All I’m going to further say on this subject is that every one of us must be willing to see this thing to the end once violence starts. It will be anarchy - everyone for themself.

The possibility of a situation akin to what happened during the French Revolution is very great. And yes, there is a reason in history why that time in France is known as ‘The Terror’.
