Frank Luntz's very vocal focus group reacts to President Obama's Oval Office address on the oil spill.

He is president because of the ineptitude of the Republican Party and the American people.
Obama is a miserable failure.
Thanks! I needed that!
Cheers!
Like what you said there. Great post.
‘He should have given the speech 50 days ago’ is the money quote.
The failure is not stopping the leak, but the lack of urgency in containing and cleaning it up.
Obama has compared the gulf oil crisis to 9-11, but imagine if Rudy after 9-11 decided to go golfing, partying and on vacation for the next 55 days.
Carrie Fisher.....drunk, fat and stupid is no way to go through life, Carrie.
“.....how mesmerized over half the country was just a short 16 months ago.”
Not me....I thought he was a communist ahole the first time I saw him speaking on TV during the primaries.
Thats good.
I dont think it was ineptitude on the part of the republicans.I believe it was the open borders RINOS that thru the 08 election. They were still smating over the push back regarding amnesty.
I listened to him only because Mark Levin was giving running commentary during the speech. Levin was hilarious mocking Obie’s talking points.
Sorry about that I meant Threw.
LOL hard to tell which one is Obama.....
Alright, that has me cracking up.
I was impressed with the Knowledge MOST but not all the people had of the Fact that Obama has offers from the Dutch and Norwegians and turned it down 3 days in to this.
Of course there was the couple who were total morons or should I say TYPICAL Black People who would Vote for Obama if he was a Mass Murderer like Charles Manson.
Yes, and the focus group was clearly split along racial lines. The Obama supporters were African-American; everyone else in the group (white, Latino) were harshly critical of the pretender-in-chief. Dr. Luntz merely reaffirmed what the Democratic pollsters already know; Obama still has 90-95% support in the black community, but among other groups, it has (literally) drowned at sea.
The question, of course, is how many Dims Obama sends to the electoral gallows this fall. Those numbers from the 70 key swing districts (released yesterday) were stunning; the signs now point to a GOP takeover of both the House and Senate. Republicans still have a chance to blow it, but if the trends continue in their present direction, their party takes Congress and can effectively block the Obama agenda.
And here’s the other salient question: with Obama running his party off a cliff, how long before the first Dims emerge to challenge him in 2012?
I love to listen to Mark Levin. We don’t get his show until late at night here. I often listen to him until midnight when his show ends. He’s brilliant.
I need to get “Liberty and Tyranny”. Have you read it yet?
That’s just wrong.
