"I think there's a comprehension gap," said Kerry. Nope. Even a public educatred nitwit understands 10% unemployment.

Mr. Kerry, you have never been poor one day in your life.
Amazing resurgence?
No.
The only thing that is surging or resurging is the oil from the leaking pipeline into the Gulf of Mexico.
Is that the amazing resurgence you’re talking about?

The Obama Democrats promised us if we gave them 3/4 of a trillion dollars in tax payer money to play with, Unemployment would stay under 8%, if we did nothing it would go to 9%.
We gave you the bucks and unemployment has gone to 10%+ and stuck there.
Only a brain dead moron with utterly no grip on sanity would think what we are seeing in our economy right now is “an amazing resurgence”.

With many expecting him to say no, the 26-year Washington veteran said yes, citing the turbulent 1960s and the Watergate era. "Yes, I have seen it," he said, but while those were focused on the Vietnam War and Richard Nixon's power grab, he said "I think this is less focused." The antiwar movement was up and running when LBJ was president. While more came on board against it after a Republican was in the White House, it wasn't exclusively a partisan attack.
The antiwar movement that existed in the US from 2003-2008 is silent today even though we have no direction in Afghanistan (which was supposed to be the Good war).
Even the outrage over Darfur has gone silent.
By the way, John Kerry supported going to war against Saddam Hussein back in 1998. Said that Hussein had been given plenty of opportunities to comply and that we didn't need any international concensus to do what WE needed to do for our own security.
What changed all of the sudden when it was Bush in the White House?
Why are we listening to a man who lied to Congress during the vietnam war spout more lies about hypocrisy?
To: presidio9
frustration he feels that Congress and the president aren't getting the credit he thinks they deserve for pulling the country out of a second depression. I'm starting to think that he probably really believes future-president Nixon sent him on a secret Christmas mission to Cambodia in 1968, and he heroically completed the undefined mission because he's a superbad warrior god.

“I think there’s a comprehension gap,” said Kerry.
Sure there is. From his perspective, they’ve bailed out fatcat supporters and political contributors on the backs of the taxpayers and their children, he and his are living the life large, and DC is grabbing for more power every day. Things are going great.
