Posted on 05/18/2010 3:15:17 PM PDT by InterceptPoint

There are already a couple of LIVE THREADS covering the overall PA primary election. But I don't see anything out there for the Arkansas, Kentucky and Oregon folks so we are going to post our normal live thread focusing on the Key House Races. In this weeks Primary Elections we see 2 competitive House Races in AR and 9 in PA. Plus there is the Special Election in PA-12 that we have been following. There is nothing looking very competitive to us in OR or KY.

So if you are just interested in how things are going across the board in PA here are the ongoing PA LIVE THREADS"

I know. I expect it’s a growing thing too. I am counting on a good portion of Sestak’s voters to be mad as hell if Arlen wins and to vote AGAINST HIM IN THE GENERAL.

UGH. I want Toomey to beat Arlen, not that slimeball Sestak.

Rendell on Fox now making excuses -— said how much BHO “loved” Specter. Asked why BHO didn’t campaign in PA for Specter, he said that he didn’t know what BHO’s travel schedule was and that personal appearances are over-rated.

LOL

The Dem is doing much better than predicted in Murtha’s district. What gives? This was supposed to be a close raise.

Critz has 59 percent with 16 percent of the vote counted.

Ouch.

Great way to look at it. I’ve been hoping for a Specter loss all along believing it’s Toomey’s to win regardless of the candidate. Color me stupid.

Burns ahead of Russell in the 12 Primary:

Burns 55.8
Russell 44.2

This surprises me, but it’s still early.

No offense, but I've been hearing the same bullsh** about Murtha’s district for two decades. (It's a Conservative district, really!)

I was NEVER counting on a sudden conversion today, never.

Skewed right now because Cambria County not in yet, according to Santorum on Fox. BUT, still believes it will be close.

I saw where a poll worker accidentally gave out double ballots to 175 people in the PA-12. Gosh, it was just an accident and no, no one knows what party those voters were affiliated with.

It isn’t BS, I am talking about the tracking polls that said Burns should win by 1 point, or at least not be down by 20 points!

The district went for McCain in 2008.

Cambria County is supposed to go for Critz, I was hoping Cambria was already in and that’s why Critz had such an edge.

Dearest StarFan. You’re anything but stupid! Don’t ever say that about yourself again. We all want Arlen to lose, but not tonight.... although it’s looking like he might. I just think we have the best chance to gain the seat if Arlen is the democrat candidate.

Let me just say that I'll believe this district elects a GOP rep when it actually happens.

This is the “all of the pieces are in place” day. There will never be a better environment for the GOP to win this seat.

If they don't do it today, I don't want to hear “this time for sure” come November. I am tired of this tease.

I want Arlen out of congress. His political career is over if he doesn’t win the primary.

Does anyone have a live count by county? I can’t find one. Politico seems to be leaving this one race out.

Can’t properly assess how things are going without comparing previous election results to this one.
