Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., who has been critical of Arizona's new immigration law, said Thursday he hasn't yet read the law and is going by what he's read in newspapers or seen on television.

Mr. Holder is conducting a review of the law, at President Obama's request, to see if the federal government should challenge it in court. He said he expects he will read the law by the time his staff briefs him on their conclusions.

"I've just expressed concerns on the basis of what I've heard about the law. But I'm not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people are doing the review, exactly what my position is," Mr. Holder told the House Judiciary Committee.

This weekend Mr. Holder told NBC's "Meet the Press" program that the Arizona law "has the possibility of leading to racial profiling." He had earlier called the law's passage "unfortunate,"...

A petition on AZ Governor Jan Brewer’s page offers you a chance to sign showing your support for her decision to sign SB1070 into law for immigration reform. She’s getting a lot of negative press over this when she should be praised.

It takes less than two minutes:

It is too funny to watch that. How does he expect anyone to take him seriously after that?

I think they know how to spread propaganda, engineer consensus, and influence public opinion.

Making up stuff about the law, designed to make people dislike and mistrust it, does not require that you actually read the law. Your target audience won’t, so neither do you. You do, however, have to play into what your audience wants to hear.

But to craft what you make up so that it is picked up and chanted by all the newsmedia for free takes some skill.

Look at people’s reaction to what the news is repeating for the Obot regime- it’s working! Boston and some other MA town are going to “boycott Arizona”, and SF (I think) is going to do the same, based on what they have heard in the news.

He read it, thoroughly. He’s just saying he has not read it, so he does not have to tip his hand now by giving an opinion.

he needs to make it look like the response is well-thought out and crafted usng some fair process.

I think they know what the outcome will be now.

Plus, if he says he read it, reporters can ask for clarifying details now, when he’d rather have people just hear the “official message” on what’s in the bill.

I finally got around to reading this bill several days ago over breakfast. 16 pages and a couple of bowls of cereal later, I was done!

What a buffoon!

I'd give Holder the same advice I'd give his boss. If you don't know what you're talking about, keep your damn pie hole shut!

I notice how the left-wing presses have this as a page 12 story.

We live in a dark manipulative society.

Poe was great, just as cool as a cucumber with that slow south Texas drawl. Holder looked like a kid who just got caught by his Momma with his Dad’s copy of Playboy! LOL!
