"Fear", is exactly what is wrong with America.

In the 60's/70's the hippies (now in charge) had the infamouse "peace symbol", rightfully named "the footprint of the American chicken" by conservatives and patriots.

They hid behind this "peace" movement because of one thing - they were scared they would be "drafted" and sent to Vietnam. So, they joined the long-haired flower children and did a bill clinton and dodged the draft, letting others do their fighting and dying so they could smoke dope and protest.

Well, the only difference in them then and now is, they have cut their hair and put on suits. But the socialist, victimhood, ideology is hanging in there.

But the dope residue must be hanging around as they never matured out of the "alinsky" stage, and still dream of utopia and Big Rock Candy Mountain. Mature people know that those things are as impossible as perpetual motion...there is always going to be "friction".

Good question- why move here if you don’t want to be a part of this country and support the flag and all that goes with it? I know many people who came here from Mexico that became Americans and none of them have this attitude. I do not understand it at all.

MEXICO: Good enough to wave a flag about. Not good enough to live in.

Excellent!

“never heard of Cinco de mayo til the last decade or so.”

Another made-up day to promote racism — like Kwanzaa.

And here’s the thing, even if it was a Mexican holiday, even if it was THE Mexican holiday of all holidays, SO WHAT?

No one can be forced to celebrate a holiday — remember all those lawsuits about 6-year-olds having to sing “Silent Night” in the school Christmas — oops, Winter Holiday — program?

No one can be told that wearing an American flag in America is “hate speech” or an “incitement to violence.”

Finally, aren’t Lefties supposed to at least give lip service to being “hyphenated Americans”? That’s bad enough, but here there isn’t even any hyphen! The students are referred to as MEXICANS, not Mexican-Americans. They want to fly the MEXICAN flag, not the Mexican flag along with the American flag. This proves what conservatives have been saying all along about the “multicultural” crapola. It doesn’t work. You can enjoy and respect your heritage, but when it comes to citizenship, you’re either all in or your not.

Too right. The disrespectful little bastiches probably don't even capitalize "Americans".

There's something about you that's starting to smell wrong somehow, I mean besides being a smart@@@. Basement walls closing in on you?

I think you’re right. They went down a cowardly path that they’ve been trying to justify their whole lives.

So, on the right, five American teens are sent home from school for wearing American flag t-shirts, and, on the Left, Bill Maher, a Proggie hero, gets kudos for calling Mexicans "a servile people."

It's always, always the Left that is racist and bigoted.

Isn't Bill cute? Can a guy get any more condescending toward immigrant women? Can the dude possibly do anything else to max out on the sex-objectification of [his view] poor, humble, servile, "sex with Dad" illegal immigrant women? Bill writes:

New Rule: This Mother's Day, all Americans must pause and extend a special thanks to the women who maintain our homes, who take care of our kids, and who still make time for sex with Dad. I'm talking, of course, about our nannies. Lost in this whole immigration debate is why Americans want to be so harsh on the people who, in so many and varied ways, enable them to sit on their fat asses. Nannies, valet parkers, gardeners, all the people who do the things we're a little too busy or important to do. There are plenty of people to be mad at our there -- the jerks at Goldman Sachs, the idiots at BP, the guy who charged you fifty bucks for these tickets -- why set our crosshairs on the humble, servile people?

I'll tell you why. Because we're bullies. Instead of confronting real threats, like the debt or the environment or Utah, we pick out the poorest, most defenseless kid on the block -- illegal immigrants -- and say, "What are you looking at?" But I'll tell you something, you anti-immigrant hoopies -- as usual you're mad at the wrong people.

He’s apologizing now because he knows that this could be the final nail in the coffin for illegal immigrants as this will anger natural born Americans forcing states and the Congress to have to take a tougher stand.

I wouldn’t put it past Obama to have directed or made the phone call to him personally.

A lot of “citizens” these days are loyal to foreign powers... like Muslims for instance.
