THREAT MATRIX 2010 #3
Free Republic Threat Matrix | May 2, 2010 | TM Crew

Posted on 05/02/2010 4:49:06 PM PDT by MestaMachine

There is no war as far as our president is concerned. There are no Islamic Terrorists, only a few rogue extremists. There is no REAL Jihad. Jihad is simply a "spiritual journey" to Allah, the most merciful. So he says. Islam, to his mind, has contributed so much to the world, after all, since Mohammed's slaughter of the Jews at Medina.
Judging by Obama's actions in the recent weeks and months, he no doubt would have agreed the Jews deserved what they got from the "religion of peace." He continues the onslaught in the name of "social justice" and "human rights"...for them. But not for us, US.
It isn't America that Islam despises, it is the Jews. And all we need do to remedy that is to turn the Jews over for just punishment...and they will love America for it. Peace would reign in the world if only America would stop its support of those wicked Jews in Israel.
Unfortunately, his view is not shared by Al Qaeda. Nor would it be shared by the satanic character of Mohammed who ordered the butchering of innocents to further his mad quest for power.
This is excerpted from the latest Al Qaeda screed from Yahya al-Libi:

Abu Yahya Al-Libi

All Americans Must Be Killed Even If They Capitulate

Top Al Qaeda leader Abu Yahya Al-Libi is out with a new, and particularly grim, tract comparing America to the Bani Quraidah, a Jewish tribe that once came into conflict with Mohammed, resulting in all the adult males being killed, and the women and children being taken as slaves, according to a mix of hadith and Quranic sources.

The takeaway from this 20-page work is rather specific and quite possibly a signpost to trouble ahead.
Al-Libi is arguing:

1) The harshest punishment is justified for those who ally themselves with the enemies of Islam, even if those people do not commit overt acts against Muslims.

2) That punishment, in the case of the Quraidah, was that all of the adult males were killed and all women and children taken as slaves. Al-Libi goes out of his way to point out that this punishment was meted out after the Quraidah surrendered.

3) The United States meets the same criteria for judgment as the Quraidah.

The expansion of the conflict here is in keeping with Al Qaeda's practices, although I don't recall seeing it stated so bluntly and justified so elaborately before.

Basically, Al-Libi is saying that every adult male American ought to be killed, whether or not they submit to the judgment of Muslims (meaning Al Qaeda, of course,) whether or not they have specifically taken up arms against Muslims, and whether or not they continue to be at war with Muslims.

Or, to use his words, they are to be killed "not just as a punishment for the crime which they have committed in the past" but "to cut off the very substance of their evil." He specifically includes prisoners taken on the battlefield in this category, although he takes pains to say that his point is much broader.

Something not right? Go with your gut. Report it.

This Mosque will be her crown of achievement in her eyes....she'll be honored by this administration and the muslim community worldwide will celebrate their mosque, (flag) being planted in the heart of where they brought the USA to their knees. It's a win win for her. It's a win win for Islam, and obama will celebrate this Islamic event with them.

Daisy Khan is the niece of Faroque Khan, founder of the Islamic Center of Long Island, Westbury, NY. Faisel Rauf is her husband, used to be imam of this mosque. Ghazi Khankan of CAIR, Yahiya Emerick, teacher at the Crescent school there and publisher of children’s textbooks that contain anti-Christian teachings, Yahiya also published disturbing essays. All of the above are actively involved in the “interfaith” conferences and programs. There is an ISNA connection and also an AMA connection. Daniel Pipes, Congressman Peter King of NY are on to this group. Wish everyone else would wake up to what they’re all about. Thanks Mesta.

Meanwhile, something a bit off-topic but still threadworthy :). In the course of sifting thru last seasons spider yield:

AERA Front

This is the site of AERA, American Educational Research Association. You can see they're mucking about with their ethical setup, but non-members can't get a good look. Non-members can look at some of the other stuff, though:

AERA Research on LGBTQ Issues in Education

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) is committed to ensuring that sound research is brought to bear on issues of significant public policy, including nascent areas of research that may otherwise be neglected. In an increasingly diverse society, educators and policymakers face the challenge of fostering educational environments that are inclusive and welcoming to all students and teachers. Today, schools and teachers at all educational levels must consider whether the educational context facilitates learning for all youth, including those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, or queer (LGBTQ).

School administrators must consider if LGBTQ teachers, aides, or other staff are hindered in the workplace because of discriminatory policies, practices, or comments. LGBTQ issues must be addressed at each grade level from pre-K-12 to higher education as well as in multiple educational contexts from classrooms and playgrounds to college campuses.

Through this initiative AERA seeks to examine the state of research on LGBTQ issues in education through multiple information gathering processes:
(1) an extensive literature search and review,
(2) an intensive small research workshop of scholars to be held in Fall 2010; and
(3) a broad-based call to the education research community for input and ideas on LGBTQ issues in education.

We seek knowledge and information on scholarship that addresses LGBTQ issues directly related to education (e.g., student experience and perspectives, child/adolescent counseling, school violence) or in adjacent research areas of relevance (i.e., identity formation, LGBTQ families, workplace discrimination).

AERA will collect scientific knowledge— theoretical, conceptual, methodological, and empirical—to assess what we know and do not know about the impact of LGBTQ issues in education and educational contexts. Scholars will identify research on LGBTQ issues across a broad perspective, determine gaps in the research, and discuss what future research agendas might address. From this information gathering we will produce a published report or monograph and a research brief.

It's also interesting that while they hide a great deal of stuff, they do not hide their member list: Short snip:

Pak Army Major sacked, arrested for violating discipline

The Pakistan Army has sacked and arrested an officer for insubordination but officials have dismissed suggestions that the matter was linked to the Times Square bombing plot by Pakistani-American Faisal Shahzad.

The Inter-Services Public Relations said the officer, identified only as Major Adnan in some media reports, was sacked for insubordination.

Media reports said the officer from the Signal Corps had also been arrested for violating discipline.

A spokesman of the Inter-Services Public Relations denied that the matter was linked to the attempted car bombing in New York’s Times Square.

Reports said the major did not abide by rules and regulations of the Pakistan Army and was sacked after his seniors complained about him to higher authorities.

Earlier in the day, the Los Angeles Times quoted Pakistani law enforcement sources as saying that the major was arrested for his alleged links to Faisal Shahzad.

The report said the major’s involvement with Shahzad “remains unclear”.

The daily also quoted the law enforcement sources as saying that the major had met Shahzad, a naturalised US citizen of Pakistani descent, in Islamabad and was in cell phone contact with him.

The report said another suspect being held by Pakistani authorities is a local Taliban member who appeared to play the role of liaison between Shahzad and the militant group.

The Taliban member told Pakistani intelligence agents that he met Shahzad three times last summer.

At one of those meetings, the Taliban member gave Shahzad an undisclosed amount of money because Shahzad said he was running out of cash.

The daily quoted US officials familiar with the case as saying that the Taliban gave Shahzad about USD 15,000 to pay for the attempted bombing.

Last month, the Dale Mabry Highway entrance to MacDill Air Force Base was closed for several hours after a car damaged the gate when the driver tried to enter the base without authorization.

A Dodge Intrepid approached the gate at about 12:45 a.m. April 19. Security personnel believed the driver was impaired and asked him to turn off the ignition. Instead, he reversed, striking a car behind the Dodge, and then continued through the gate.

Security barriers stopped the Dodge, and the four occupants were detained.

MacDill is a logical target. I am surprised it has taken this long considering its location.
I had to be there for a few days back when.
