Angry Fox News executives reportedly ordered Sean Hannity to abandon plans, announced as late as this afternoon on his nationally syndicated radio program, to broadcast his TV show from a Cincinnati tea-party rally he was headlining.
Hannity, on a book tour for his No. 1 best-seller "Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama's Radical Agenda," was scheduled to be the featured speaker at a four-hour rally at the University of Cincinnati

I think it was explained as best as could be earlier in the thread, if you read in-between the lines. It coincides with what's been reported. Apparently his Freedom Concerts are coming under close scrutiny as his demands for private jets and first class hotel rooms for his family, staff and friends leaves little money for the cause. For the sake of full disclosure he'll open the books for his fans to assess for themselves.
I hate to think we have a Prima Donna in the making but his ability to constantly pat himself on the back (another Whorealdo?) is becoming a turn off.
((((ping))))
I agree with you.
“Well, then give us your reasons - I assume that you have worked with him. What are his problems?” Deagle 4/15/10
You’ve offered up alot about yourself, EC!! but so far, no examples of what exactly it was that Sean Hannity did to deserve your diss.
I just know you are jealous of his hair and his good looks. :-)
And Juan cried at Bam’s Denver speech while on the air! I love his puzzled look when Conservatives make good points. He looks... well, befuddled. :-)
I stand by my assessment that he is DUMB AS A BOX O’ROCKS.
5 dollars times 10 thousand people or more.
How despicable and ignorant to buy into the leftist insults
Tea Party is also a play on words.
Ever hear of a ‘tea’ party? Sure.
Ever hear of a ‘grand old’ party? Nope.
eeevil conservative has no one to be jealous of in the hair department.
Has there been any proof of that? Do you have a link? I'm not being combative nor in denial, but I just haven't seen any evidence... not yet, anyway.
For the sake of full disclosure he'll open the books for his fans to assess for themselves.
Is Hannity going to do that, or do we just hope he does that?
I hate to think we have a Prima Donna in the making but his ability to constantly pat himself on the back (another Whorealdo?) is becoming a turn off.
Ugh, I hate the thought of Hannity becoming another Whorealdo, but we'll see soon, I guess...
“E. C. has noone to be jealous of in the hair department”
????
Oh, right...that is a big difference.
eeeevil conservative is definitely NOT a “sir”.
“Hannity” is not a news show. It is a political commentary with a stated conservative slant.
Get real.
Well Sean’s been on 20 minutes and not made 1 mention of yesteerday’s issue....
He shouldn’t be restrained either from saying anything. Last time I checked from 3-6PM Monday-Friday he is an employee of ABC Radio, not FNC.
come on Sean, start talking.....
Hannity bailed on the event... the excuse that he had a family emergency is a load of poo. The guy cares more about the money and position than the cause. Got to sell those books, etc. He talks a good game freedom, blah, blah, blah... but when push comes to shove and it is going to cost HIM something... well we have seen where his true heart lies. As they say: talk is CHEAP!
Cant whine when MSNBC does stuff like this and then justify it when Fox people do it...
Sorry, no.
Hannity is a political commentator; he makes no bones about his beliefs.
The gripe with the MSM? They refuse to acknowledge it.
It's not about 'principles" it's about marketing.
LOL
That is endemic in FR -
Post just about anything about anyone and they are off and running. Judged/juried/excecuted on a headline.
She (EC) has nice hair, Einstein.
LOL!!!
oh Buford! How ya doing, dear?
btw— YOU ROCK!
winkin at ya!
I had my satellite turned off a year and half ago as I can get all my shows online - shows, movies, documentaries, series - old and new on my time schedule. (Well, I do have to wait one days delay before I can watch "24"...but it's with only 30 second commercials, cutting watch time in half...and I save up and watch 4 at a time, so's I don't have to wait a week to see what's gooing to happen next. Makes for a nice popocorn fest.)
The free watching includes live TV - except that FOX makes it difficult. For some reason, they are adamant that people not be able to get them live, so we play this cat and mouse game. WE get a link, in a few days, they shut it down. and then we play 'Groundhog Day'...
With over 800,000 and counting that have now shut off their cable/satellite feeds in favor of getting everything on the Internet, FOX will start loosing viewership.
Cable/satellite is going to go the way of print media. I'd be willing to pay a nominal fee for online feeds of the handful of stations I listen too. I will not pay the extortion fees of satellite to get "280" stations when I only watch a handful.
But, even a small fee should not be necessary. Ads should cover it for the stations. There's no need of installations of any extra equipment or billing or bookkeeping involved with watching online. Then there's the added perk of having your keyboard at your fingertips to quickly check up on anything someone claims - trust but verify.
Wake up FOX. WE're moving into a new era. Technology waits on no man - not even Rupert.
