Washington, D.C., April 13, 2010. Army doctor Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin yesterday met with his brigade commander, Col. Gordon R. Roberts, who proceeded to read LTC Lakin his Miranda rights, and who informed LTC Lakin he had the “right to remain silent” because LTC Lakin is about to be charged with serious crimes. Col. Roberts was at age 19 awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor, the only recipient of the nation’s highest honor currently on active duty in the Army.

LTC Lakin had previously been ordered in writing to report yesterday to Ft. Campbell, KY and then on to deploy for his second tour of duty in Afghanistan. Lakin refused to obey these orders and instead came to work yesterday morning at the Pentagon. Late yesterday afternoon he was confronted by his brigade commander.

Before the meeting was over, LTC Lakin’s Pentagon Access Pass had been revoked, and his laptop computer was set to be confiscated.

The message to LTC Lakin is clear; through official channels, he was informed yesterday that he will shortly be court-martialled for crimes (specifically, missing movement and conduct unbecoming an officer) that for others has led to lengthy imprisonment at hard labor.

Lakin has announced in a YouTube video that has now been viewed more than 110,000 times that he considers it his duty to refuse to obey orders that would be illegal if President Obama is ineligible to hold office.

Meanwhile, cries mount for proof of that eligibility, but nothing has been forthcoming. The Obama campaign at one point released a copy of computer-generated abstract of information purportedly in Hawaii's records system, but the source of this information is unclear and need not have been a birth certificate issued contemporaneously and signed by the doctor who attended the birth. Even the document released was only a copy, and the version printed in the Los Angeles Times on June 16, 2008 is on a form only in use since late 2001. Even as it is, the document contains a warning that it is merely “prima facie”--threshold, rebuttable and thus inconclusive --evidence of birth, and the copy the Times printed mysteriously has the certificate number blacked out, thereby rendering the document unusable according to language on the bottom.

Given the seriousness of the offenses with which LTC Lakin is about to be charged, the American Patriot Foundation today renewed its plea for donations to its legal defense fund for LTC Lakin. Details are available at APF's website, www.safeguardourconstitution.com

I don't think Obama has ever claimed he was born anywhere but Kapiolani but perhaps you can find otherwise and post a link.

Poll shows 50 percent believe this is settled.

34 percent believe it is not settled, and Obama should show his Kenyan BC.

Hmmm ... 34 percent ... one-third. And ironically, Benjamin Franklin was called crazy by his critics, too.

Although an online poll, it reflects our nation's Politics from the very beginning.

At the outset of the Revolutionary War:

- one-third of the public were Patriots, proclaiming the Declaration of Independence on
July 4, 1776 and jabbing their collective finger in the very eyes of Tyranny

The reason we DON'T say “God save the Queen” today is that the TRUE leaders — the Patriots during the Revolutionary War — were the LOUDEST and were willing to SACRIFICE more than the Tories.

There IS a lesson learned there, and I think Patriot Samuel Adams perhaps said it best:

Don't know will have to ask him! And you don't need a psychic hat to understand that birthplaces of a President are a big deal. Every single one (except Obama) is commemorated in some way or another - whether that be a plaque, a monument, or name change honoring that President or his family, or an information packet, or it becomes a tourist site.

Whoever Lakin’s lawyer is, they need to start working this issue in the press. Courageous career office expected to show long-form birth certificate when commander in chief insists on hiding his own. Then they need to show American what some real long-form birth certificates look like such as Miki Booth’s family and the Nordyke twins and ask why Obama, the pledger of transparency, can’t practice what he preaches. Next they need to hammer home that a 14th amendment citizen, as Obama claims, is not a natural born citizen, and that the children of British subjects, like Obama are also not considered to be natural born subjects.

Sadly, the uneducated masses are turning a blind eye to obvious abuse of the Constitution. It requires one to be born in the country of citizen parents. As such, Obama fails to meet the eligibility requirement. It’s that simple.

When asked if they consider Obama a “legitimate president,” 32.6 percent said no, and another 15.8 percent said they were not sure. Barely half of the voters, 51.5 percent said they do consider Obama a legitimate president even though he has yet to produce a long-form birth certificate that would prove he was born in the U.S.

Even 14.6 percent of the Democrats said they do not consider him a legitimate president, along with 52.2 percent of the Republicans. Significantly, 31.8 percent of the independents said no.

Those who were uncertain included 12.1 percent of the Democrats, 21.3 percent of the Republicans and 14.3 percent of the independents.

Also, asked whether they were more or less likely to believe in Obama’s legitimacy, only 40.1 percent said much more. Some 27.9 percent said much less, with a significant 12 percent unsure.

“A lingering doubt about his legitimacy as president continues to dog Obama,” Wenzel said. “Barely half – 52 percent – said they believe that, in light of the fact he has not yet presented a long-form birth certificate that would prove he was born on U.S. soil, while 33 percent said they do not consider him to be a legitimate president. Another 16 percent were unsure on the question. While some try to marginalize those who continue to call for Obama to release his birth certificate, it is clear many don’t think this is a settled matter.
