CNN and MSNBC are all over this "Christian Rightwing Militias"story coming out of MI.
Now its Christian Right Wingers that the FBI has been tracking...along with the Southern Poverty Law Center...makes all of the prelude and all of the talk about right wing hatred and rage very interesting.
The tinming is all coincidental, I'm sure.

So in your view, how many people does it take to constitute a militia? Does the motivation or tactics of a group have a bearing on whether or not they should be considered a militia? How many people have to be involved in the planning of illegal activities for conspiracy to take place? And finally, what does the familial relationship have to do with the argument or charges?

What not long ago were recognized as patriotic Americans are the only true enemies of the current White House administration.
And it ISN'T because the patriots have changed.
It's what the Marxists running the federal government want to re-define the definition of "American" as being that causes them to view true Americans as the enemy.

Right. At face value, I suppose.
As stated above however, the intent was to sarcastically critique and mirror-image the LeftMedia’s repeated and ridiculous singling out of Christians, I did the same with another religion.
I believe by the way that it is “anti-semitic” as in against the Semites.

criminalizing political opposition is a hallmark of leftist ideology.Except when they're in the minority.
Then it's "noble".
As in the bumper stickers popular prior to the 2008 election, but now subversive: "DISSENT IS PATRIOTIC"

I’m not entirely convinced, but I bet the FBI engaged this bunch just so there would be reason to single out groups as the Tea Party groups as kooks and a threat.

It’s a good thing Julia Child is deceased, otherwise she would be Public Enemy # 1! sarc/

Sorry - I’m just a slow typist. Anyway, I live in the PNW and we’ve had more than our share of whackjob groups from across the political spectrum (Rashneesh, The Order, Aryan Nation, Rainbow, etc.) I don’t fear groups like those, but I do recognize the danger they pose - both in direct terms and indirectly when law enforcement over extends the scope of their investigations.

Initially you didnt provide any links. At any rate, the group identifies themselves as Christian, why does it bother you that the press reports that?It bothers me because Christians don't normally say they're killing in the name of Christ, unlike another religion who kills in the name of Allah.

Clearly these folks aren’t what I would call “Christian”, but there are a lot of people who I think misapply that title.

My gut tells me the press isn't going to get as much traction from this as they want. The histrionic left will, of course, be all over it, but they are all over it even without a manufactured incident.
Worst case is this group is like the Manson cult, trying to start a war by inciting a trigger event. Heck, these guys aren't even as bad as Bill Ayers, the SDS, or the Weather Underground.

The question was;
“I dont have a TV........has anything been reported about the TX Rancher and his dog being murdered by an illegal(s)??”
you responded with a link to a news story.
