Has anyone heard about FBI raids conducted last night in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. Warrants are sealed so no public information is yet available. Rumor is the raids are related to last weeks DC anti health control rally.
The concerns I have is this will be used as propaganda by the left wing Marxist administration to declare all right wing opposition is tied to the militia movement. If this group is doing something illegal, shame on them. At this point in America’s freedom revolution, there is no need for violence.
But use of force should not be ruled out. It is clear the progressive marxist administration will use force, intimidation, and probably trumped up charges with few truths, to move forward their intimidation against the freedom movement.
I think pipe bombs could be made in 90% of all households in America that have a few household chemicals, some old pipes, and a few rusty nails. Who would have a need to sell pipe bombs? They can’t be a money maker in the big picture.
I agree the charges could be suspicious on the part of government looking for MSM propaganda against people who are freedom fighters against commies.
It’s war. Liberty vs fascism. Liberty vs government tyranny.
The government is playing their hand. Freedom fighters have to either bluff, or play for keeps.
First, I’ve never heard of “hutaree,” so I am prompted to ask what “Christian-oriented militia” MEANS...? Does that mean a CULT that identifies itself as Christian — but no other Christians would recognize it as such? It would be the propagandistic tendency of the Press to misportray them that way...
Second, why are the Feds keeping the reasons they are going after these people quiet? What are they up to? And I mean BOTH the Hutaree and the FEDS... And are these “Hutaree: THAT big a threat? Bigger than say, the radical mosques in Dearborn,MI or Phoenix, AZ? REALLY?!
At the very least, this is a heads up... On the surface, I don’t like what it looks like — but I need to know MUCH more before I jump to conclusions....What’s the LATEST? (I’ve only read the first dozen posts on this thread....
This is the most recent I've seen. A rep of MichiganMilitia.com describes them as a religious cult and a survivalist group. Even so, the crimes alleged so far, selling a pipe bomb, seems shaky.
Ok, I have to back down from my defense of these guys according to this info just received. posted below. There is NO WAY I would want any Christian freedom fighter or group to be associated with these guys. My deepest apologies for getting caught up in the hysteria.

There may come a time when it will be unsafe to communicate with fellow patriots on the internet.
I’m not paranoid, only realistic... I think we’d be crazy not to believe the Federal Government doesn’t monitor the internet, and maybe knows who almost everyone of us are. They’ve just not taken notice, or been given a reason to take notice, yet...Or MADE a reason.

MPAC Recommends Fewer Resources For Monitoring US Muslim Community

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) has released a policy memo recommending among other things that fewer resources be devoted to monitoring the US Muslim community. According to a summary [1] of the report:
MPAC today released its latest policy memo entitled “Data on Post-9/11 Terrorism in the United States,” which compares the incidents of Muslim and non-Muslim terrorism cases in the U.S. since 9/11, both in terms of the number of actual and attempted attacks within the U.S. as well as the process and outcome of the terrorism trials.
Among the key findings are:
* There were 51 total plots by domestic non-Muslim perpetrators against the United States, and 29 total plots by domestic and international Muslim perpetrators since 9/11.
* Only 42% of individuals publicly associated with terrorism by the Department of Justice were actually charged with violating an anti-terrorism or national security statute.
* There have been at least 4 cases of non-Muslim domestic terrorists possessing or attempting to possess Chemical or Radiological weapons, including one case since Obama’s election. No such cases involving Muslim extremists have been reported.
* Since Obama’s election on November 4, 2008 there have been 25 terror plots by non-Muslim domestic extremists and 9 plots by Muslim domestic and international extremists.
The summary presents the following policy recommendations:
* Expand community policing initiatives
* Increase support for research on combatting biased policing
* Expand investments in better human capital acquisitions
* Reform the fusion center process to increase coordination among law enforcement
The report [2] itself explains the recommendation on “combatting biased policing”:
Increase support for research on combating biased law enforcement. As MPAC’s data demonstrates, terrorism against the United States is not limited to Muslims. Disproportionately focusing on a particular community is a misallocation of resources that ignores other risks at our nation’s peril. Reducing biased policing through better research and training is necessary to make our nation more secure.
MPAC was established initially in 1986 as the Political Action Committee of the Islamic Center of Southern California whose key leaders likely had their origins in the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Since that time, MPAC has functioned as the political lobbying arm of the U.S. Brotherhood. MPAC has opposed virtually every count-terror initiative undertaken or proposed by the U.S. government. At times this opposition was said to be on civil-rights grounds but, just as often, MPAC claimed that U.S. counter-terror efforts were aimed at the U.S. Muslim community itself. MPAC has consistently supported and facilitated terrorism by supporting terrorist organizations and, more broadly, constructing an elaborate ideology defending the use of violence by Islamists and Islamist organizations. More than any other U.S. Muslim Brotherhood organization, MPAC has developed extensive relationships with the U.S. government which have included numerous meetings with the Department of Justice and the FBI.
