In the live thread about the Obama-Pubbie HC summit, I posted that the first thing the Pubbies should say is ‘why are we not talking about jobs? The economy is a bigger issue than Healthcare.’
If the Pubbies had started the conference with that, they would and ended the healthcare debate and forced the administration, and they probably would have ensured victory in November.
It’s not healthcare, it’s still about money and power. Democrats convinced themselves their ticket for long time power is tied to nationalized healthcare.
Democrats will reward their supporters and punish opponents, just as they always do.
