One of the things I find so utterly irritating about the modern "Journalist" community. It is populated by shallow, uniformed, unaccomplished little minds who all consider themselves great thinkers and brilliant intellectuals.
Being able to mindlessly regurgitate the Leftist group think of the political/media establishment not a sign of either wisdom on intellectual ability. Quite the oppose in fact.

You’re right. Journalism would be much better off if instead of having ‘j-school’ grads they had MBAs, past business executives or economists writing on business; real scientists for science stories; and not even poli sci PhDs, but nonplagiarizing history PhDs observing on politics.
