Medicare is broke. The HI trust fund has been cashing in its IOUs since 2008. By 2014, four years from now, 45% of all Medicare expenditures will come from the General Fund. Medicare represents an unfunded liability of $38 trillion and the Prescription Drug program, Medicare Part D, represents an $8 trillion unfunded liability before Obamacare closes the doughnut hole, which means it will cost more.

Medicare can wind up being the Achilles heel of the dems regarding Obama control.

The dems are going to be forced to defend how wonderful Medicare has been for seniors while at the same time defending taking it apart by the huge cuts they voted for in obamacare.

They can't have it both ways unless we allow it and we sure as hell better not!
