It's been said that the military is always preparing for war. That is true. We prepare for combat every day. We ran 5 miles today to the rifle range and shot nearly 200 rounds a piece at targets and then ran back. However, we also pray for peace. I would love one day to be completely unnecessary. But alas, I am a realist, and I know that day will never come.
The headlines of the last week have reminded me more of glimpsing at the S2 Daily Briefing Sheets while in theater or the Al-Jazeera than the NY Times or the Washington Post. Think about that for a moment, let it sink in.
Before I get into the main premise of this article - I need to make two statements here.
First and foremost , when it comes to the back and forth of who did what to whom and why - I don't give a @!$%#. It doesn't change the action. In life we're judged by our actions, nothing more, nothing less. One of the greatest things of the military is when it comes to an enemy, the politics behind the situation - don't matter in accomplishing that mission. For the military , life is simple in that regard.
Secondly, Regardless of your political ideology, you've earned the right as US Citizens to say your piece - no matter how wrong it may be. That is your right, and I will give my life to protect it.

Iraq, even Fallujah, would be a snap compared to subduing angry Americans.
In Iraq, the troops are 6,000 miles from their families, living on secure bases, and only venturing out in force.
In the USA, their families would be right here with them. They can’t live 24/365 on condition red in body armor. We’ll know who the domestic enemies and traitors are. It will be a long walk across the parking lot at Target.
This creep is for sure confused about the oath he took.
He swore to defend THE CONSTITUTION against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
It was the GERMANS who swore a “leader oath.”
And “I was only following orders” didn’t work as an excuse on the gallows.
“Nice profile.”
And he is currently online, deleting poster comments on the mud-run as we type......
” you’ve earned the right as US Citizens to say your piece - no matter how wrong it may be”
For now anyway.
Too bad for SGT C..t that it’s saved forever, and also his picture.
WHOOO HOOO!!! That guy just got his behind handed to him He deleted the whole article and discussion. He got called out by a Gunnery Sgt that was at the Battle of Fallujah that this guy claimed to be at but wasn't the guy had said he was there He cited specifically.
He said that when he was in Fallujah in 2004 that we went up against 1000's of insurgent iraqis and only lost 25 guys in 3 days.
later he said that fallujah is located in tha heart of the Al anbar province
he then said that the battle took place in late november to late december of 2004.
He then said that it was the army, the marines and the brits, vs the iraqi insurgents. Now first of all anyone involved in Operation Phantom fury including myself knows that.
A. that battle of Fallujah took place on November 7th to the 16th of 2004
B. we lost 95 men and around 1000 casualties
c. The Al Anbar province Is HUGE (anyone that has been to iraq knows this) it stretches all the way from the jordanian border to baghdad and included the area where the infamous Abu Gharab prison is. Fallujah is actually 25 miles west of baghdad on the euphrates river.
d. the brots, the marines, the navy seebees, the army, the air force, and the iraqis were all there. and we fought against all kinds of people from all over.the writer of that article was soooo full of crap it was blatatly obvious.
after the gunny busted him and posted that reply 5 min later the guy took the whole thing down comments and all. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
If I were that SGT if he even is one He's be doing PT Till he could suck cold molasses up his keester through a straw. He'd be filling sandbags until the entire state of north carolina was hurricane proof.
Ohio is a red state if you remove lib population centers like Cleveland and Columbus.
I’ve seen estimates that we’re fighting less than 500 “active” Taliban and 2,000 “support” Taliban in Afghanistan. How many troops do we have there, chasing them?
I like what General Crook said long ago: “Chasing the Apaches with the US Army is like hunting deer with a brass band.”
Sgt Cpl C will be fine.
Too bad he posted such nice pictures of himself.
Ohio is key since every M-1 Tank is built there. It has to go red....
“This article was deleted by the author.”
I guess the turd couldn’t stand the heat.
How many M-1 tanks are in Texas?
“Too bad for SGT C..t that its saved forever, and also his picture.”
“CPL C” will be posting from the brig next week.
Ooooooooooooooo
I was just surfing this thread for why the article was gone and I think you answered my question before I even knew to ask it LOL
BS. The military is not composed entirely of mindless drones like SGT C--t. They can read the Bill of Rights. If, for example, they are ordered to disarm Americans, half of the military will desert with their arms. And half of those who remain will drop dimes on every single operation.
Amen brother. All the way to the bitter end, and further.
I wish the Sgt the worst of luck that i’m thinking is coming his way.
Red has a lot of M-1’s in Texas, how does red replace them once they start to attrite? Advantage blue.
